Most underrated guitarist on earth
He's not under rated lol he was up for the dime-bag award. That's a crazy honour because dime-bag is a guitar god and legend. Jinxx as well as him won golden gods for best guitarist but I think people don't seem to realize that don't really have any first hand experience with guitar is that jake has an unbelievable a lily to sweep pick and their music is somewhat complicated but fun to play lol but yeah I don't think he is quite under rated but he definately is going to be if not already is a legend to modern rock n roll
But he doesn't get most of the attention. He needs more love from the fans. He's a total badass on Guitar
KittyThaKiller hes not seeking attention, throughout rock and metal genres of music, its the vocalist that gets most of the attention then guitarist and so on, he is recognized in the rock community as a great producer as well as an excellent very above average guitar player people say he is under rated because their music isn't as mainstream as others would like to be. Rock is making a comeback and hes just one of the people helping make it happen.
+jynxx'd Oh I know he doesn't seek attention. I meant I hated when people act like he isn't as important to the band as for example: Andy, just because he isn't in front of the camera all the time. (Jake is my Idol)
+KittyThaKiller I agree but as long as people enjoy the music, and the band has a following who cares who people fan girl/boy over. They all split the money so I don't think he's complaining but I agree he's my inspiration for my band and songwriting, engineering ect
I was never a huge fan of Black Veil Brides, but damn, their guitarwork is absolutely fenomenal

Took me about 10 minutes to learn on bass, really all you have to do for yhe most part is play the roots of what Jake is playing.

Keep at you'll get there! I've been playing 8 years and i can honestly say guitar is the best thing that's ever happened to me. Being able to not just listen to but play my fav songs is just the most fantastic feeling ever. Check out my channel you'll know what I mean 😊

Wow, I think it is truly spectacular how you are able to reply to most of your fans. Not everyone does that these days. I admire you for that. You seem like you really want to help these kids learn, or even just show them a little kindness. The guitarists in BVB are really what made me fall in love with the band, so thank you for being so awesome!

My artistic abilities do no lie in playing instruments so I deeply admire anyone who can blow people's minds with their instrumental playing skills. Srsly who the hell could have had the nerve to dislike this awesome guitar tutorial?!?! >:O Anyway..I've always been intrigued of what happens when you isolate the sound of the various instruments within a BVB song. Now I know. Absolutely beautiful layering of sound combined with vocals...I just recently BVB's music one month ago. You've gained a new addition to the BVB Army.

I believe he is feeding most of the audio into the recording, it's not as loud as we are hearing it. My dog is afraid of mine too and it's due to the noise, their hearing is so much stronger then ours. I make mine go into another room where she's comfortable so i don't destroy her ears.

Hey Jake, thanks for the lesson, it seemed a little advanced well a lot advanced. I'm new to playing. I love the song. I have Epiphone les paul traditional pro & Marshall 30w solid state amp. I wish you did it a little bit slower for us not so experienced but I guess that's what pause is for. LOL any way thanks for the lesson, your my favorite/ inspiration to play from the new metal guitarist. Thanks again.
Trent Bugarewicz I will do my best to slow things down more haha, sometimes it gets tricky when used to playing it up to speed. Just keep it up and you'll be shredding in no time.
JakePittsBVB What are your amp settings for this? I can't seem to get any where close to the correct sound.
Trent Bugarewicz Well, even if you had the same amp settings, to be honest you would still get a different sound haha.Try your best to find the tone that you like and enjoy because copying his tone from scratch will be really hard unless you have every single part of his setup XD
Short Version: Same amp / gear settings will sound different for all guitars so try find what you like! :)

I cant believe how intense you guys are. wow. I spent the whole night watching watching other bsmds and their vids. I get bored very quickly and would often go to the next video. then I saw some of you early vids on youtube . you guys intreaged me then after i watched the video for this song (WOW). For the first time in a long time I had to watch the rest of your tunes,and never skipped any part of the songs. Just wanted to leave a comment and say thank you guys for making music that I can relate to. When I first heard the song Carolyn I started crying because it was how I felt in 2013 when I was first diagnosed with depression and anxiety and all that other fun stuff so thank you Jake ❤️

Jake, bud you guys have it together, don't let some of these idiots and their nonsense comments get you down, I am 60 years old, used to play a lot of metal, but have calmed way down, I guess that is what age does even to the wildest. My youngest daughter turned me on to your Band, I really like your sound, its not a copy of somebody else, you guys are original, hand in there, stay healthy, and success will take you to the top, you will be remembered as one of those great groups one of these days, time is on your side.

Hey Jake! First off, just wanted to say thanks. I've been listening to BVB for over a year now and I'm loving the music (the first time I heard of you guys was when I saw you guys play at the LC in Columbus with Bullet for My Valentine). It really inspires me to be a better person. I'm a guitar player as well! I already picked up the guitar strings you recommended on here and they sound amazing! My absolute favorite song of yours is Shadows Die, simply because the guitar work is phenomenal!! Would you possibly be able to put up a lesson video of Shadows Die, because I just can't really get around that opening riff?! Thank you so much for your inspiration and your work!
