BVB is by no means a favorite band of mine but seriously people Jake and Jinxx are two very talented guitarists
The main issue with the band is that they're constantly diluted because "they're hot." Their guitarists and drummer are pretty good when you look beyond that. It also doesn't help them that Andy has kind of an ego.

Its just basic guitar playing. Try watching Alexi Laiho, that dude made some insane riffs for modern metal music. Its not a talent if anyone can play it and im pretty sure 90% of ppl can play Bvb songs. Not saying they are bad but just nothing special.

I respect them for what they are, they come up with interesting riffs and it’s already something that most guitar players don’t do.

They played it like a million times
Jake and Jinxx are both classically influenced and have a way with filling every song. Neither of them just hang on a palm muted power chord for the whole song. They are unlike any of the other guitarists in bands that are famous today. My hat's off to both Jinxx and Jake. 2 truly amazing guitarists.
Literally everyone is commenting on their appearance: have you seen Slipknot with their spikes and gas mask shit? This is their own look. Kiss does similar stuff with makeup and strange clothes. Can we just appreciate the talent they have when playing guitar?

Jinx is actually a VERY talented Musician! Guitar is just one of his instruments. He can play anything from Classical Music to Heavy Metal! Don't judge a man until you actually know him!

I am a major fan, but don't really care about the fact that they're probably one of the most hated bands. In the end... they're out there recording all the time, playing many gigs, touring the world constantly and still have a pretty large fan base. So there's no point in arguing with those who don't like them, pretty sure the band don't give two shits considering how successful they currently are.
I know, but talent doesn't seem to be appreciated that much these days.

I really love it, but guitarists play really bad(we can see it this), they constantly allow random sounds in the game, because they do not jam the excess, which leads to this result, many do not know how a guitar should really sound because of such videos

I don't get why BVB is known as a poser band. since when has being greatly influenced by a band (s) posing? At least BVB is influenced by GREAT bands like Metallica, Motley Crue, Pantera, White Zombie etc. Be proud that a band still recognizes those bands and gives credit when it's due. There is just to much hate going on. That was what the metal community tried escaping from. music was the great escape from persecution from society. Now most metal heads ARE the persecutor. This song is easy to get down, but it would help if he'd play the fast parts of the solo slower, so you can actually figure out what notes he is playing.
Also, there are too many fangirls here rather than guitarists who actually wanna learn the song.
for the tapping part he just hammers on to 18 pulls off on to 15 then on to 13, but i found if alot easyer to do it on the first string with 13 10 and 8
I just can't figure out the second descending part after the tapping.

Bands like KISS and Motley Crüe were ridiculed for their look, early on in the beginning of their career. You can only expect that to happen to bands with an image. Just like BVB. People always tend to lash at things they don't understand or agree with. Just remember that those bands that were once ridiculed have grown and become something larger than I or anyone else could ever truly comprehend.

The difference between KISS and Crue and BVB is that KISS and Crue have A LOT more talent.

You make an interesting point, but one cannot simply ignore the different eras. KISS came at a time where wearing outlandish makeup and costumes was virtually non-existent. Crue sorta caught fire with the rest of the glam wave during the early 80's. BVB are probably more similar to Motley Crue's situation, except it sorta feels "been there, done that" with them. I don't listen to BVB at all though, but I can respect what they're doing.
KISS was about the whole sex drugs and rock n roll lifestyle. This emo shit is about pre-teens who hate their parents.

this song definitely is not very complicated to play. im 11 and I've been playing guitar for about 9 months and I can play this. that doesn't mean they're bad guitarists. you don't need to shred all the time to be a good guitarist. I saw bvb live back in November and they were amazing and I thought that were 100000x better live than they are on recordings. go to an actual black veil brides show than state your opinion.

I'm not the biggest fan of them. But, i give them a lot of credit to them for what they do. They do write some complex things on guitar, and as a guitar player myself, i can tell everyone that their stuff is hard to play. These guys are great musicians, even though they are not my favorites. I hope that relieves some tension with this band. Not to mention they probably are making more money than any of us here, and they are having fun doing it because they do what they love to do.
I don't care what the past comments say I have a lot of respect for their abilities to play instruments and create music if you don't like the way they look or sound don't click on their TH-cam videos
If you hate BvB just go watch another videos. Just be cool and accept there are many kinds of people with different kind of mind. What's so bad about dressing up and play how they want? They are enjoying their life doing what the like. Why don't YOU?

These guys are so respectable, they are actually really good live and honest to their studio versions, they don't cut corners on solos and rarely make mistakes. Props to good musicians.
listening to this is really weird for me now that my "musical ear" has progressed alot ... i can hear both guitars individually when being played in unison ... and can really notice tonal differences in their pickups
How is your ear now? I noticed after about 10 years of playing I can isolate small details of each guitar, such as if they were to strum closer to the bottom of the pick guard, subtle pinch harmonics, etc…

I play a 12 string guitar and I thought it was hard but now I see I can never be as good as these musicians in this category, and this is just one of the best guitar players I know. Props to these guys. They deserver all the respect and wealth.
I probably look at these guys and see and what my parents saw when I was heavily into KISS in the late 70's. Boy how things change! :)
