Oh! Hey! How are you!? Love the intro. I'm just creating my 4th game in this quarantine and uploading youtube content. At start really it's a hard work because you believe you know how you want things but you must adapt them to your workflow and keep going. But yes, I agree that it's an awesome job, full of trials, even if I'm just starting. The only I want to add is: Even if you feel the preasure on your shoulders and the anxiety and amount of work is enormous, you are doing it because you love it, and if in certain moment you feel bad about what you are doing or you feel that you MUST do it only for preasure or fear, you need to stop and rethink what you are doing and why, and find the line again to keep going and enjoy it. And the bad part about it is that it can happen almost every week haha! So taking a time to relax and breath is essential. Great video Thomas :)

Do you have any advice from going from feeling like I don't know anything to actually feeling like I am capable of making a game. I have taken some online courses to learn Game Dev in UE4 using c++ and even though I just completed it I still feel like I know nothing. Do you think it would be best to keep doing courses and learn more or to just jump right in and see how it goes? I love your content thomas!

Even C# and web developers don't feel like they know what they are doing until after a few years.

Hi.Learn the basics of c++ and/or c#.If you want to work first with unity to gain some experience you need c#.You can use c++ with unreal engine. Many good games use this engine. After you learn the basics of a programming language you need to get used to a specific library. For example in c++ there is a library called SFML specifically for game development.I would recomend you to download sololearn on your phone. There you can learn programming languages like c++ and c#.It is a very user friendly app and you will learn much from there.

I never got the people who argued it was expensive to make games. It is just the a descent computer, Creative Cloud(or ms paint) and game engine subscription(unless you use Godot or don't meet the revenue guidelines on some engines). Then just pay the $25 Android fee and you have the cost of a game.

@@tekiero It can be time commitment depending on the game, but there is not much capital needed.
