this melody is so beautiful,it has special feel to it, i also prefer this one than theme song at the beginning, plus its such awesome show, can't wait for season 3!
Do they give credit after stealing this song? It's "You got lucky" by Tom Petty. I didn't see his name posted and that's just wrong. He had several lawsuits over just this very thing.
To me it seems more like a riff on 1994s TV mini series THE STAND (not the recent remake). It sounded familiar from the very first time I heard the first notes of the end credits in the first episode. Atmospherically eerily similar to "The Beginning of the End" which is probably the most well known piece of Snuffy Walden's THE STAND soundtrack (also quite fitting with the themes of loneliness, apocalypse and the need to stand together whatever the cost).
