Ody: ......and now my dog is probably almost dead! STAB
I'm genuinely addicted to the one part in Six Hundred Strikes. Ody's genuine rage and pain and grief. And just him turning Poseidon's logic against him. I will admit that the first time I heard Get In The Water, I did admittedly call Poseidon a pussy for holding onto a ten year grudge XD
you just KNOW Poseidon was waiting around Ithica since his first encounter with Odysseus, stewing that entire time like, "this motherfucker's gonna get here eventually or die trying, and i sure as shit ain't letting him do it if he survives the trip." my bet is that Poseidon was willing to wait a whole century just to make sure Ody was dead before moving on.
@@gachagoddesskim7630 Honestly, Ody and potentially Ares (saw a theory that the red eyes mean that Ares gave him a boost of strength) went easy on Poseidon. Like man killed about a solid 90% of Ody's crew and got off with a maiming that he can heal from.
That is charybdis she is Poseidons daughter who was mutated into what we see her now that’s why Poseidon doesn’t go near Scylla because it brings up bad memories of how he lost his daughter or how his daughter was hurt and he couldn’t prevent it
The little wing person in the corner was right I feel, Ody started in Get in the Water with Open Arms, trying to let Poseidon let things end and move on, and when he didn’t take that option he chose Ruthlessness
The ending of 600 strike makes me cry. Hearing the pain in both Ody and Poseidon's lines is just gut wrenching. I want to know how 600 strikes works with the background vocals with Ody being human or what is going on there when Jorge can explain it!
No Charybdis was not sent by Poseidon, and while in some story telling the monster is said to be his daughter this is most likely not the case in this story. The other telling is that Charybdis takes a sip of water 3 times a day on a set time, not really targeting boats specifically but it ends up destroying a few anyways. Ody happened to be sailing by, during one of it's feedings.
Tbf he could have as in epic Scylla is a separate trial to Charybdis so she might be “closer” with Poseidon and it would also explain why she is randomly near Ithaca
Joke's on you guys, I didn't even have to be here when it officially uploaded to be first....what do you mean me editing it doesn't count???
If there's one thing I learned from six hundred strike it's that Ody is born to use the power of friendhship, but forced to use 'fury of the fallen'

This made my editor laugh her ass off reading this
This was hilarious 🤣
This is too good 😂😂😂😂
Charybdis was absolutely my MOST anticipated song, also the ending of 600 strike was so incredibly well done
The more I listened to Charybdis, the more I started to appreciate how complex it really was!
Charybdis is my favorite song in the saga.

SAME but to be fair 10 years isnt that long in terms of a god's lifespan lol so i guess he was just being a lil petty

Not only that he is a freaking coward he had the audacity to tell Odysseus to stop when he never even stopped tormenting Odysseus
@ FR LIKE buddy get uno reversed

The instrumentation for this saga is probably my favourite, it's so good
Agreed. There's just so much going on. Just wait until the full song analysis comes out 😊

9:55 I’m surprised no one made connection to Poseidons face smiling in the water
WOW I DIDNT EVEN NOTICE THAT.
@@sunoshecano3837 took me a second too 😂
Had to turn up my screen brightness to see 😮
I know right? Through all the reactions I never saw anyone notice I thought I went insane but it’s such a cool detail!!!
At least Calypso got to meet her nephew (Hermes) before she was left alone forever
Unfortunately he got relegated to "someone" In Calypso's song, so I don't think she's too happy with meeting him
Odysseus gave him the kratos treatment

My headcannon is 600 strike the move is a tidal wave made of the souls of all his men, so each one gets a single blow in one big barrage of swords lol
I know my model did not show my full face for 600 strike but my jaw was dropped through that final section. It's insane.
There is a season 2 to the “hermes and Jay” skits they released back at the circe,if you want to react to it!
It's been appearing on my feed. It's so hard not to watch it!
Let's go I was waiting for your reaction
Yoo under a minute lets gooo
I was sure this was gonna be my favorite saga before it came out. It did not disappoint, but I fear I’ve underestimated how much I love other sagas!
I loved this saga and can’t wait to see all the interpretations of it.

Never clicked so fast
Disappointed with how the Poseidon plot ended but stoked for Ithaca and the completion of EPIC.
The viola is in the end of Charybdis because it's Penelope's instrument!
