Man you'll never know how much this car and your dad building it on Rides influenced me. I had always loved and worked on hot rods as a kid but when I saw this car I lit a passion for traditional hot rods and customs.
I remember watching the show when I was a kid. High school maybe. If you were the little kid in it, then I feel old now. Iconic car. Influenced a lot of builds here in the Midwest.
Happy to see it still exists with the maker. That car should be in a museum someday, as a marker for the legit hot rod resurrection. That car, the show, and the pinstriping got me into hot rods, and I haven't looked back since. It's the skeeter that bit me.
Your dad is so rad. Really like the channel. I bought my 71 mustang at 18, now at 34 still have it and loving every minute. Watching your vids makes me remember when I first got my car how stoked I was doing things to it here and there. Keep up great work bro.
Bad News, sweet ride. Love the car and the history. Not much I like about Cali, politics wise. But the car culture is wonderful and those hot rod folks are very dear to my heart.
@@FourSpeedFilms, are you building a early hot rod soon? If so film that- there are misadventures putting these together and you have the talent to make it entertaining
@@FourSpeedFilms ,I get the money part big time..hunting for reasonable price parts is treasure hunting. By the time I get most of the parts my son's will build it
That episode of rides featuring that car changed my dad's life, 😆. We've built a T-bucket since and now we are build another rat rod. Hit me up sometime. Love your channel. Thank you and your dad!
I took notice of this build years ago. Very few folk know hot to make a T look good. It has the right stance, wheels and chop. I've always wanted to get a russ no more body and do a show version of this one
Your Filming / Editing skills are unbelievable.... You and Craig really inspired me on my channel... I hope I can just come close to your stuff one day.... Andy
This is a Badass old-school rat rod. It's low, custom, impractical, and an all-around death trap. It doesn't have to be super fast to be super fun but since the car is mostly gutted id bet this thing moves!
Man,, Ben another great vid,,, yeah those will definitely look good on the mustang!. Always loved this car,,,,,I remember buying the very 1st issue of hot rod deluxe in I believe autumn of 99,,,with your dad and the choppers cc on the cover!!.so cool. Love the starliner as well!,
Mafia Henschen Thanks man, I appreciate it! Once I get some money I’ll have to go find myself some real magnesium mags! That’s awesome, thanks for sharing👌🏼
I remember travelling from the UK in early 2000's specifically to go to Paso Robles Car show and meet the Choppers at that once famous show, they were very cool guys and I probably bought a Choppers t-shirt from one of the the wives, probably Keith Weesners or maybe your Mom!

It's a really cool hot rod it could use a few little improvements to make it a little safer 🤔 I did notice you had to turn the steering wheel alot I do think I'd put a quick steer set-up in it there not too expensive around $150 from Jegs but it's a cool car.😎ML33Mi
I think it was your dad who was driving Weesner's roadsters awhile back when it was t-boned? Was it rebuilt? Maybe do some vids on the other club cars? Great stuff!!!
I’d have to disagree, but the 32 is a traditional hot rod. It’s way way to close to what started rat rodding for me to call it a hot rod but it still and awesome car
