Yeah and I live very close to that area. Been there many times and I've never seen a palm tree in the area. Most of the footage is not from that area either. The AI voice over sucks.
@@Roger-vz7ol The worst part is, the content creator does not even seem to care what we the watchers think. So I have actually told TH-cam to not recommend this channel.
This is how you know that it’s an AI narrator: “In July of one thousand nine-hundred ninety-one.” The Romance languages say the years this way, but English doesn’t. In English it’s “nineteen ninety-one.”
I also wondered: AI generation ... but at least we know the give-away. Reading comments, others have caught other errors about the described environment and I would not know.
If you're not trained or experienced with guns, better to just carry a few cans of strong bear spray. This kid wasn't a gun owner or experienced with guns and there's a way better chance of having an accidental shooting than needing the gun for self defense. Bear spray is the preferred and recommended route for 95% hikers and campers. No, The mistake this kid made was doing this hike alone. Bears were the least of his problems.
Definitely very illegal to shoot a bear in any National Park Land. Bring bear spray and be smart, otherwise stay out of THEIR home. They are endangered and there is zero justification for bringing a gun.
Okay, in July of 1991, while working at Old Faithful Lodge, as a house keeper. I did a day hike into the Shoshone Geyser Basin. Round trip of 18 miles, I was in much better shape. The only problem I had, was I almost ran out of water. If his socks where damp, and his boots still by his tent. More then likely he got up in the middle of the night to relieve himself, and more then likely startled a bear, or even worse a Moose. The Moose would have chased him, and in the dark, he more then likely got lost, or fell into a hot spring. If it was a bear, well, there is that. Also Shoshone lake is very deep and very cold. Oh, and mister AI, your a nub. Who ever put this together, needs to check the facts.
Austin King got lost by following a false trail and having to climb rocks without ropes which neans he had to find another way down. People like Austin will look for secluded wind and weather protecting areas to hunker down when bad weather comes in. Rocks and soil during the cold & wet weather are huge heat sinks that drains the heat from the human body which without a fire leads to hyperthermia quite quickly
Austin's campsite down in Howell Creek was found with the bear bag not hung and his sleeping bag missing. I believe he successfully made it back to camp that evening.
Something REALLY weird happened on ( 09/1990) while Camping at a designated Camp site. Story is 100% true, its called; " Yellowstone encounter" one of 2 vids on my channel.
I just googled Paul Lammers case and did it on Duck duck go and facebook...i get NO info. Nada! Do you know why there is no public info about this case? Where did you find out about Paul. This is weird. Great video.
I guess maybe you don’t realize how rural it is. Most places in the park you cannot get cell service. You might get some crap service near mammoth, maybe a couple other places, but other than that good luck. You better have a satellite phone or something of the like.

I live in Cheyenne Wyoming, and I heard nothing about that young mans disappearance. Of course it was a bear. It clobbered him then drug him off. Its that easy. I worked in the park the summers of 1985, in Mammoth Hot Springs at the General Store. 1991 at Old Faithful Lodge as a house keeper, and in 1995 at Grant Village, as a night made/janitor. I also made friends with the Rangers. I never heard any thing odd or strange. And I did a lot of solo hiking all three summers. Maybe I'm lucky, or I just got lucky. I just checked the weather for September of this year, in Yellowstone. No mention of snow.
No solo cvs trips definitely NO SOLO BACKPACKING NATIONAL FOREST SOLO...terrifying thinking of alll the possibilities that could have been..ugh be safe ppl
These videos all repeatedly call these guys “experienced” just to try to make it more mysterious. There’s nothing supernatural or mysterious or even remarkeble about these cases. Just highly naive and Unprepared men in the woods getting themselves lost and succumbing to the elements.
But why were his hiking boots left outside of his tent? If he wondered off and got lost, how far would he have gone with no hiking boots?
Well, you've made a mistake. Jenny Lake, is in Grand Tetons National Park.

Grizzly land whit no gun?????
I know, better to have one than not, but it's the two legged animals that are most dangerous

Great video. Stunning photography ! Very good narration! Love your channel.
Good luck with your new channel.
People disappear even in the crowded towns, it is crazy to hike alone. That is stupidity.

What is it with photographers going missing in these parks & forests?
Why did he not take a GPS tracker? Cyclist and walkers can record their route using Strava.

Why do these people go alone? Does not seem safe at all.....
Not smart to rule out animal interference.
