As much as I feel sorry for him, because he's obviously being in denial with regards of his emotions. It's evident ever since Rachel's season that he's been shut down emotionally and felt rejected long before that by his father. So I quite understand why he doesn't feel like "talking about feelings or emotion" anymore. That sense of emotional shut down has developed in him and only the right girl will restore his faith in relationships and emotional connections. But why come to the show if your mind was set on not wanting to develop real connection with someone? We know the answer .. free food, shelter and bath. But why did you have to drag someone down with you and waste their time?
