Demi is very insightful. I think there is wisdom and sensibility in what she verbalizes when discussing issues which are causing discord. For instance, what she with Annalise early in the season regarding Clay and his interest in Nicole made sense. She asked Annalise if talking to Clay right before his date with Nicole was the best time to have that talk. I love what she said in response to the question about Blake releasing those text messages. Everyone involved has something for which they need to take responsibility. Make an effort to come to a mutual understanding of how we can treat each other better.

That scene was edited. All the tears were because Blake brought up how she should have felt more violated after her sexual assault then when he released that text message. That's when Dean said stop the show, all of which they did not air, and that's why u saw Dean comforting Caelynn after the commercial break.

Demi is very insightful. I think there is wisdom and sensibility in what she verbalizes when discussing issues which are causing discord. For instance, what she with Annalise early in the season regarding Clay and his interest in Nicole made sense. She asked Annalise if talking to Clay right before his date with Nicole was the best time to have that talk. I love what she said in response to the question about Blake releasing those text messages. Everyone involved has something for which they need to take responsibility. Make an effort to come to a mutual understanding of how we can treat each other better.
This drives me nuts, he shouldn’t apologize. She completely made up her own narrative and he is right, noone would have believed him. I know I wouldn’t have. That scene was edited. All the tears were because Blake brought up how she should have felt more violated after her sexual assault then when he released that text message. That's when Dean said stop the show, all of which they did not air, and that's why u saw Dean comforting Caelynn after the commercial break.

Not saying that all the slut shaming Caelynn is getting okay at all, but Blake shouldn't have to apologize for clearing his own name from life-ruining false allegations. She painted him out to be a "bad" dude who sexually manipulated and then silenced a rape survivor. That's not something that just blows over and not something he could just definitively deny without proof.
NOBODY was on his side except for maybe Kristina but even she has a little bit of a hard time defending him. It was because he released those text messages and I know he was just trying to save face but he did it KNOWING that Caelynn would get bullied. There are other ways he could have tried to save face and help his reputation. He's supposed to be the man in this. Releasing private text messages just isn't cool no matter what the situation is.
