So, it got installed at the Dallas Montfort location? lol before this footage being found I only thought it was at department 18 and got dismantled the department 18 cu prototype stage
This footage is a monumental discovery for the Chuck E. Cheese community!! You've got extremely rare footage of an extremely rare stage! Up until now, we've only had two pictures of the unfinished stage and concept art.
The fact this was somewhere stored years ago in a attic or something brings alot of hope if people dig up their old vhs home videos and make even more discoveries!
Historical significance for the Chuck E Cheese brand aside, this video really is a nice warp back to a simpler time. There's always something warm about a family recording of an event like a birthday party or just a silly moment between family members in the comfort of their own home. Thank you for sharing this!
Everyone was saying that this stage was never used but here it is extremely rare footage of it. You must preserve this footage because this is probably one of the most rarest chucky cheese footage ever.👍
15:36 I don’t think they could have chosen a better show tape for this stage than the Tune Machine, especially since the epic fanfare fits with the discovery of live footage of this particular stage. Surprised no one has mentioned this.
Oh my goodness. This was actually INSTALLED AT A LOCATION!? Now I gotta wonder, how would they handle shows with the traveling Munch animatronics if this stage was still being used up until 2.0?
Cec would be WAY different today if they kept this stage they would have kept the pizza time players concept studio c might never exist in that timeline too or well not be similar to the one we have now Helen wouldn't become younger most likely since the whole reason she was made younger was to be in a similar role to mitzi being someone relatable to the younger kids

Historical importance of the CU prototype stage aside, look how old those games are for 1990! I've never heard of an arcade being profitable with old games, until the modern day where they're appreciated as retro. Pole Position and Galaga weren't "retro" in 1990, they were just old. You had to have the latest-and-greatest games back then to bring people in. I wasn't alive for this, this is just my understanding from talking to operators and techs from back then. Anyone that's like 40 or something, can you confirm or deny this?

Does the owner have the full recording, because it seems what is uploaded is the tape being looked through, so if the person had the full tape to release that would be good even though it was 35+ years ago
Yes, i know this is the owner. But i want to know if the tape recording is still out there because what we see hear as I said before is a video of someone going through the tape that holds all the video so if the tape is out there and the owner may have it they can give the full recording.
Actually, this is probably a showbiz that just had the prototype show installed, fun fact: some showbiz pizzas opened with the pizza time players, so while it was technically a showbiz, they had the cec characters from what I've heard
