- Here's how I paint Warhammer 40k Space Marine Power Swords. Miniature Painting can be tricky and acrylic paint can dry FAST. Be sure to always thin your paints and let each coat dry before the next! This can be used on Age of Sigmar as well!

This is my favorite take on how to do a power sword effect, love this so much.
This guys has been helping me with alot of my customs and what I learned carried over to some of my other hobbies like gunpla and other plastic hobbies there needs to be more people like him

You should back the curvy arm part of the base. Like it's some nasty cursed arm rising out if the ground to deliver the sword to its owner.

NMM is a very impressive technique, and I can't imagine the patience required and time spent perfecting it.. but I just never think it looks good. Even boltgun metal cover looks better.

What’s that thing called you use to hold up your bits? Been trying to get into painting but the small bits are hard
So I use really cheap hobby store paints do the more expensive paints blend better? I can't get a good consistency for glazing. Either too thin or too thick
Yeah they're worth it. The pigment and medium is designed specifically for miniature scale and blending/thinning is easier
Im new to painting so I apologise for the newb question. Currently using citadel’s brushes and I feel like they fall apart rather easily, what brushes do you use/recommend?
