On eBay there is a 1982 yt 175 parts machine up forsale it says 32$ but I think it's just for the gas tank
The old tri motos, tough old machines. You would have no problem selling it.
I had a old Yamaha tri Moto125 ran it on the stock piston n rings brooo the little thing flew after we tuned er up
Cant go wrong with a 80's wheelie machine
You almost always have to give them gas to fire!
1983-84 Tri-Moto 175. The 125s didn't have front suspension. I'd Ditch the oil injection system they are unreliable. Otherwise super fun bikes great job for saving another piece of history.
Looks like a good fun project. Its possible it may have a broken Reed valve causing it not to start. Awesome video as usual 👍
still worth $200 even if it didnt run,parts for those things are hard to find,you could make your money back 5 times over selling the parts,its a win win.

For FYI front shocks if original is a YT175 the other is the YT125 but straight forks no shocks. You can put YT175 Forks on the YT125 same chassis. Its a Yt175 becuase 175 pipe is bigger like this one 125 is small and goes more on the side.
Love the door hinge on the air box. And the tail light looks like a light off a tractor trailer.

I love how when he first tried to start it he was pulling the cord maybe a foot not even going through the 2 strokes like buddy I’m pretty sure there is more than a foot of cord, although I do recognize that it wasn’t recoiling the greatest but still come on man

I got a 85 yt125 for 420 running lights work everything works only thing is the plastics are sun faded it’s reliable never died on me best Machine I ever owned

I just bought a ytm 200 for $140 did rings and carb now shes minty!
I got 3 ytm 200s and made one from them by a guy down the road for free and sat outside for 15+ years and got it running

I could buy a yt175 seized engine for $60 or a yt(yamaha tri moto) for $200
You literally just hydro locked the engine with all that fuel then said you're gonna put fuel in the spark plug hole. Lmao
I like the your whole thing with buying machines and getting them running but a lot of the stuff you do and say makes me cringe really bad. A lot of the time seems like you don’t really know much there guy.
I had one of those growing up. Mine was an '83 Yamaha YT 175 K. It hauled ass and was a total wheelie machine. My dad actually built me wheelie bars for it from shopping cart wheels and an old Suzuki dirtbike shock. Sweet vid!
Edit: I burned mine up because the auto oil injection stopped working. Had to rebuild it and I pre-mixed after that. I look forward to this build.
175 I had one when they came out.

Probably i good idea to clean the airbox before even pulling it over to avoid any debris entering the cylinder. As far as something left outside for who knows how long.

I had a 1981 110cc version of this bike. It was a no suspension, kidney killer but it was a torquey little dude and would climb most anything. I subbed your channel after watching the Honda 200X video and the 110 was what I had before I bought the 200X. Great video!
Thanks, love the channel. Frustrating, things have been in a junk pile for a while "oh but these sell for $1,000 online." or "New these sold for $5,000." Not in junk condition

Got a 1984 Honda atc 200 bigred 3wheeler with high an low range had it 12 years got of a guy had a Christmas tree farm she ruff but runs

Those rear plastics are not cheap and hard to find in good condition.
Lol gas being off doesn’t matter bc you didn’t even have the line hooked on the carburetor so there for the gas being off wouldn’t matter

Could you please consider doing some videos on vintage mini bikes? There’s a serious lack of said vids on TH-cam. And they’re incredibly interesting pieces of history
old people who have the vintage minibikes think they're worth gold when they need an entire restoration and then you have a pretty incapable offroad machine.

Lol I got one for 200 back in the 90s good luck going up hills you pretty much need to lay over the front tire but you can give it gas and the tire comes up there's nothing to keep that tire down

i had same 3 wheeler but mine was a 200cc it looks think someone put ridding lawn mower tires on back and if yous want to keep mice out go get mothballs they sell at dollar store and outer places mice do not like them or i hear a dryer sheet will work to
Get yourself a Honda Atc and you wont be disappointed. I always ride a 200es but would love a 200x or 250r
