Welcome to the 4th class in the Radio Navigation series.
In this class we will be having a look at NDBs which are basic radio beacons that serve as something to fly towards and also the bit in the plane called the ADF.

Very nice drawings there Grant, particularly of the waves; it does make it a lot easier to visualise that way.
Back when I first got to know about ADF, everything "automatic" basically meant "magic with the help of technology", so they would surely put that on the label 🙂
Thank you so much for doing this, please do make complete series for Radio Navigation.
That's the plan!
i have radio nav exam soon😊 thankyou
have a nav exam in a week, cant find any good info on how the loop and sense antenna works. you are a savior
Glad I could help
Thank you, just in time for my exam 😂
The best in the world 🎉❤
Thank you for this video sir
once again thanks, Grant.
Video I just watched that may compliment the RBI - ADF Section: it’s called ADF Navigation: use the formula MB = RB + MH. If sum is >360, subtract 360 to find MB. Drawing it out helps visualise it
Great Job. Keep up the good work.
Thanks a lot for your efforts ❤
I appreciate the valuable lessons you have provided . I would like to suggest the incorporation of quizzes or questions related to each lesson in the end of video, if time permits. This would enable us to gauge our understanding and application of the material, particularly in exam scenarios.
Great suggestion!
cant wait for PBN!
Thank you very much for all your content! Why don’t you make a series on Air Law as well? ✈️✈️
I'm working my way through the subjects...
Thank you very much👏Btw, when do you plan to upload RMI, HSI, CDI video?
In the VOR video I look at these in a little more detail.
