I've been using this laptop for university for two years now. I had to repair it once to fix the hinges, they are very poorly made and can't take going in and out of tablet form. If your planning to use it as a normal Laptop then I'd recommend it. Double check the hinges before buying used

Usually if replacing the bios chip, you know what the chip looks like. I don't do that type of repair, so I have no idea.
Any clue why they used so much glue and adhesive tape inside? Seems really dumb.

this laptop is shit bruh i bought this and its screen hinge broke automatically within 6 months now one of its ram sticks have died
RAM isn't the fault of the laptop. You likely got a faulty chip. Send it in for warranty.
