DirectX12 render setting ON will fix any stuttering you are having, and will run better on some cards. Try both. Use what fits you. (Personally use 12 bc it looks better)
My game stutters like crazy with dx12 on.. And i have an 4080. My GPU drops from 95% usage to 5% all the time..
Never mind.. Even without dx12 it stutters like crazy
This worked for me on an AMD card so this could be card specific
Yeah .. I have a 4070 but I have a cpu bottleneck . Directx12 fixed my stuttering .. I still need to upgrade my cpu” Ryzen 2600 lol” but I decided to go am5 so pretty much doing a new built but that’s how it goes I guess lol

You can disable shadow, please keep your old file as a backup in case anything go wrong or they update
go to Document > My games > Xdefiant > bc_gfx_settings_unauthenticated.cfg
find these settings and set them to 0
"num spot shadows" = 0,
rtshadows = false,
"shadow distance" = 0,
"shadow quality2" = 0,
"spot shadow resolution" = 0,
"ss shadows2" = 0,
!!!! KEEP OLD FILE AS A BACKUP!!!
Edit : Right click the file > properties > check “Read only”

2080TI I9-9900K 160FPS. I ALWAYS check for your videos man, every time a new game comes out you are the first place I go.
2080Ti i7-12700K 170FPS just now finding this guys guides.
I have a 3070 and running at 1440p with slightly higher settings than yours but triple buffering on and getting 200+fps most of the time. I do not notice any input lag increase with that setting.
I got the 4080s with a 12700k and the games aways start with 350-400+ fps which is really nice but then drop to 270-300 its really annoying cause its obvious my CPU is the bottleneck at 1440p. im wondering if its worth upgrading after a little over a year with it.

How you get that shit to stay on full screen??? Anytime I try and switch, when I hit apply, it just freezes my game. Although, if I click on stuff on the screen, it makes noises like it’s still clicking menu buttons.

My game doesn't minimize in fullscreen mode when I click on my 2nd monitor. I don't need to activate fullscreen window.

I'm having some issues with my game on 3 frames per second.
4090/12900k-400 fps 1440 max settings. I do lower them regardless bc I found its easier and clear to spot people. Was testing as well and potentially certain lower settings can make it even easier to spot invisible players as well.
However oddly if you lower your overall graphics settings option to "low" which then lowers everything automatically, you will lose fps at least I did by more than half.
Also if your stutering turn low latency off it will stop dont know why keep latency on Plus boost tho

When I run 1440p full screen it automatically goes windowed mode and won’t go back into full screen unless I run 1080p
i got that too, but did menage to got it to work, go to documents, xdefiant folder and open the file called "state" , i dont know wich setting made it work , but i will put here the ones that i change

Just change false to true or vice versa and save after
i use dsr in nvidia control panel because my native monitor resolution is 1920x1080 , and this is the only game that i need to change the resolution in the monitor(2560x1440) before i can choose it in the game, hope it works for you
So I have a fps problem. My fps was capped at 60 fps then the next day without changing anything it was capped at 30 fps and I tried everything in the settings to get more then 60 fps because I know my PC can do it easy but nothing I change in the settings won't work. I uncapped the frame limit and everything.

Man, the issue isn't the optimization at all, but the game is really bugged, and suffer from stuttering if you play more than 2 matches, ubisoft had to wait more in order to realease this thing
Turn low latency off it should stop it worked for me

nvidia gtx 1660 ti 8gb ram / 150fps in game
Launch day I played without changing any setting and everything was smooth. Next day it was almost unplayable. Extreme stuttering. Switch to cod at ultra setting and everything was smooth. Went back to XD same stutters. Playing on 7900 xtx 7800 x3d odyssey Neo g9. I’ll play around with setting in this vid to see if it helps

I have 112 fps and when I move my controllers stick or mouse I can feel the shutting wtf this is so poorly optimized wtf ubisoft this game is also werid as fuckyesterday ran fine no complaints today cant even move without stuttering it was the same with the play test iv never experienced anything like this in my life
