I had a thought that ran along the same line. That there should be a chance for one of the mundane creatures to transform and become hostile, adding some uncertainty as to whether or not that rabbit or deer you're looking at is or isn't truly a rabbit or deer or an eldritch abomination.
you guys should make it where the spiders underbelly is a massive mouth, and when you go under it, it grabs you with its tongue and eats you. Love where this game is going, keep up the good work. ❤
For the worm, you can size the arms(Base bone of the arm) down to 0.001 when not being used and just hide it in the body then size back to normal(1.0) as needed.
The game is looking great so far! I like that the worm has arms. The only thing I noticed that you may want to change is that you can put a bicycle in your backpack, which is a little strange. It might make sense if the bicycle was a unicycle instead, but that's still a stretch.
I love ambient horror. So if you could do a section on the audio that would be wonderful. I would also love to see a monster that uses ambience to get you of that make sense.
I really enjoy the concept of danger where you would not suspect it. The tree spider is an amazing idea (that I will steal for my DnD campaign) but I think there is more potential in this concept. Maybe a burrowing monster that takes random stuff that could be hints to lure in the player to its location. It could be visible as something like a small ring under the hint item or scrape marks on the ground to show that the item has been moved. The hint item should not be a real one, as this would cause the player to necessarily fall for the monsters trap.
i feel like a weather system could make the game more interesting, rain or strong wind causing slightly different boosts and such for the monsters. such as the worm becoming slightly faster during rain due to the wet ground or the spider slightly less aggressive on windy days
so idea i wanna give is add a stalker like creature that stalks the player but is passive until a certain point or a monster you have to find in a certain amount of time were you find it and it runs away and hids behind rocks but if you dont find it in time its kill or be killed you can use traps and stuff to damage it hope this idea could make it in the development but thats ur tams choice best of luck on the game🙃

Here's an advice: instead of creating something that's scary, throw a bunch of "promises" of that scary thing to give a sense of terror to the player.

a cool thing too add would be like an event which causes all the monsters to become more hostile and makes them able to see you from a grater distance
