Failing to save the sacrifice would mean failing the mission. Additionally, introducing random jump scares where players must quickly press a random button or a combination of buttons within a short timeframe could elevate the tension. These jump scares could be justified by a temporary incantation that banishes the monster or a weapon that injures it, forcing it to retreat. This element would blend the sudden fear of a jump scare with the anxiety of needing to react correctly to survive, adding a thrilling layer of unpredictability and intensity to the game.

How about a crow or owl themed guy in a _____ clothing Or A entity that is also trying to find the body and also hunt you so you have to avoid it and find the body before the rival does Or A monster that makes your game play as fun and horrifyingly insane Or A monster that moves for a random amount of time at random intervals the laughing tells you it’s moving

...idea, with the park rangers or police or whatever, what if they had enemy chatter.... and what if this had the neat little side effect of attracting the monster. so that if you are both in the area, the monster will go after them first, suddenly cutting off their chatter and signalling youre next... but also making it SLIGHTLY easier to get around. You'd also get to show them being killed to put the player on edge. Additionally if youre in a society ahat if there was some sort of... enforcer, looking after you? Like some sort of test master who will punish you if you dont follow enough cult rules.

Hey, some constructive criticism here: How about spreading the advertisements apart? If you're asking for wishlists at the 1:20, then don't do the sponsored section 1:30 minutes later. I'm not even halfway into the video, not even hooked and just being bombarded with stuff. Simply putting one on the second half of the video makes me much more inclined to continue watching.

Sprinkle some crown tree as a way to make it less clear which one is the monster. The player does not have a way to tell unless they take their eyes off it, giving a constant tension.

couldn't you put an monster in each zone of the game ? i feel like only one ennemy would be boring. i don't know how big the map is though... maybe you could keep the idea of one main nemesis, put there are some places that he can't get into, and in these places there are side monsters ?

Could add a second cult that are against feeding the hole that come searching for you randomly trying to kill you but they are also not immune from being attacked by the monsters, could even add a scream when they are killed notifying the player they’re in the forest
