Thanks for your comprehensive video. I have 5 Triple Crown plants that I will plant in Earth Boxes. I am also in Zone 7a. I didn’t know about shading the plants from severe heat. I have a shade house with 50% shade cloth that will be great for that use.

Blackberries in containers will prove to be an error. I had my Triple Crown in a container and it grew, but struggled. Once I put it in the ground it grew at 5 times the rate and I now have 15 foot Floricanes packed with leaves this season, and it's only at the end of April.
Chuck the containers and the bags and get um in the ground and sprinkle some 10 10 10 around and watch em take off.

Can you grow raspberries in containers? If so do you have a video on how to do it? I got tired of my raspberry patch becoming so unruly so I chopped them to the ground and covered the space with ground cover to keep them from spreading. I still want raspberries so I potted up 5 plants in pots but do not know how to grow them that way or if they will even survive like that.

Thank you so much for this in depth and informative video! I did just recently plant a Triple Crown Blackberry bush in a container. Made a few mistakes 😂 🤦‍♀️

Adding gravel, broken pottery, etc to the bottom or the container to aid in drainage is a myth. Not only does it not help drainage, it actually hurts drainage. The best thing I've found to block the holes in the bottom of my pot is fiberglass mesh tape used for drywall. Just cut to the size you need off of the roll and stick it over the hole! Cheers!

Hello so the premium potting mix you made in the kidd pool is what you use for the blackberries bushes? Can you use the same mix for raspberry?
