Keith, the first time I appeared for ielts academic was in December last year. I got L:8.5, R:8, W:7.5, S:7.5. I had to take the exam again because for my profession, I needed 8 in speaking. I started preparing using your videos. Those were extremely useful and lifted my confidence. I took the test again last Saturday and today received the result - L - 8 R - 9 W - 7 S - 8 All credit goes to you. Without your guidance this accomplishment won’t be possible. God bless you Keith!

I had my speaking test today, and I really want to thank you, Keith, for your super awesome guidance which helps me build my confidence. I had some sort of questions like below : Part:1 Introduce your self, What kind of job you do? What makes your job more interesting? What should be the qualities of the manager? Part:2 Describe A Person Who is Good At His Or Her Job You should say: - Who the person is - How you know this person - What job they do Part : 3 Something about good manager ....?(gosh I can't recollect this question properly) What are the feeling of joining the first job? and a few general questions related to the relationship with the boss... All the best folks, trust me it's not hard at all if you can speak smoothly.

Amany Elashry generally speaking, probably not. I think a lot of this language is much more suited to spoken English. I would expect more formal language in writing task 2.

Whilst there is some overlap between some questions (as you mention), the focus of each one has to be different, and so would focus on slightly different language. Your Part 2 answer has to focus on the main aspect of the question, maybe cooking, family, or shopping. So although the question/cue card may look similar, it will need a different focus. Hope that makes sense!
