Questa lezione è stata illuminante per me. Volevo chiederti però se ogni volta che c'è un'azione passata collegata al presente è obbligatorio usare il present perfect o si può anche usare il passato semplice

Nel corso che sto prepoarando dedico una intera lezione alla differenza tra Past Simple e Present Perfect (: in generale il Past Simple parla di una azione passata che è conclusa mentre il Present Perfect di una non conclusa

Veramente ben fatti ma lo sfondo azzurro non è molto eyetracking, specie con la scritta bianca... La frase I have lived in London for 2 years non è 'ho vissuto a Londra da due anni' (I lived...) ma 'vivo a Londra da due anni'. Ovviamente tu lo sai ed è stata una svista, però uno potrebbe confondersi ulteriormente con il past Simple

L'unica cosa non ho capito perchè nel quiz la frase all'inizio è "è in Francia da un mese" e poi diventa "she has been in France since January". Non dovrebbe essere "She has been in France for a month"?

Ho una domanda: Nell'esempio Have you ever been to Italy? non dovrebbe essere Have you ever been in Italy? Essendo che to si usa quando c'è un movimento mentre in quando parliamo di un posto nello specifico? Forse sbaglio ma mi è sorto questo dubbio.

"Have you ever been to Italy?" emphasizes the act of travelling to Italy -- the person is asking if you have ever physically visited the country.
"Have you ever been in Italy?" emphasizes the location of Italy -- the person is asking if you have ever spent any time within the borders (i confini) of Italy, regardless of how (a prescindereda come) you got there.
In the example you gave, "Have you ever been to Italy?" is the more natural choice. This is because the person is asking if you have ever visited the country, not just if you have ever been within its borders.
