I have 52 hours in the game. It's pretty cool for a small team of developers. Looking forward to checking out new updates.
These options are something RoN and Ghost Recon should take notes in. Everybody can have their own desired AI behaviours, so no one is going to complain about whether the AI is too smart, too dumb, too easy or too hard.
I doubt that’d be the right decision for RoN, since they seem to intend on emphasizing how deadly guns and gunfights are. It makes sense that there’d be only one difficulty (difficult), albeit their AI could definitely use a touch-up.
@@MartinNateDD
It's just not that SWAT SIM for the rest of us, SWAT SIM has never been about gunfights, it's about preserving lives by turning chaos to order, that's why we have non-lethals, that's why we have S ranks that rewards the playstyle. I don't see how options would hurt the game while players can already give those options to themselves by modding. You just have to make it official and allow everyone to personalize their desired parameters.
Personally, I play SWAT 4 with Lethals but I always try my best to use tactics so that no one is getting killed. My guns are more like deterrence, you can't even use tactics in RoN and expect everyone to behave cooperatively, the way you always need non-lethals for S ranks is kinda boring since it doesn't reward you for being tactical more than it does reward you by just having BBs in your inventory.
@@032_m.alfathcirrus5 Interesting, what do you think RoN should do if they were to make it a more proper “SWAT sim” if they were to retain the singular difficulty option?
Also what do you mean by “you can’t use tactics in RoN and expect everyone to behave cooperatively?”. As in what “tactics” and who’s “everyone”?
@@MartinNateDD
Tactics as in sneaking behind them, flanking, stealth, surprise them by any means, in RoN suspects would still hesitate to surrender even though I yelled at behind their back. Also, in SWAT you have more lee-way because suspects react more slowly, they don't always try to raise their weapon whenever they see us. "Everyone" as in the subjects for arrests, suspects, civs, NPCs.
If they were to retain a singular difficulty, give player more lee-way to arrest the suspects meaning they shouldn't always resort to combat. Also there's this chaining thing going on in RoN, meaning you have to keep making the suspects surrender from the first man you yelled at so the rest of the suspects won't jump to combat you, once they do, you can rarely tell them to cooperate anymore, I don't think SWAT 4 does that and I think this is unintentional, fix is needed.
Overall I just don't like that interactions with suspects gets boiled down to Fallujah 2.0 in RoN, resulting in a monotonic gameplay where combat is the primary objective, now we've seen plenty of combat in milsim and other shooters, but this is SWAT SIM, combat isn't its main thing, we're supposed to save lives. Well, maybe not those terrorist's lives from some levels, irl they're pretty much given less strict ROE since how dangerous they can be.
I really enjoy this nice little game and every little update. The latest one was pretty dope regarding the AI improvements. Closing in on 20 hours, just doing the same stuff over and over again. I like the missions, I like the length of it and that I can do everything on my own and at my own pace. I love it.
thas why i bought it
I hope the development of this game goes well.
These options are awesome! Didn't know either. I'll jumb right back in! Thanx.
Played with the hotfix earlier today. AI does feel more challenging and less predictable. Been enjoying it a lot.
man, sad to hear what happened and happy about the recovery.
holy bot comment
I was pretty keen to try this out but nearly refunded after about 90 mins as I just wasn’t feeling it. We stuck with it and love it now. Even if it got pulled I’d still have had £11 of fun with it. I play these games with my Dad and was a bit wary of how he’d handle the inventory stuff. I tend to build guns for him and drop them at the beginning but I was very pleased to see he keeps all his stuff immaculately ordered unlike mine so I think he’s enjoying more than he thought he would. Really looking forward to updates and having to stop myself progressing on my own. I’ve never wanted to play GB or RoN solo so that’s a very good sign
It's awesome to hear you play with your dad. Hoping this game succeeds 👍
@@jty1999 he’s 73, had him playing coop shooters since Quake 2
They should make it so the game gets more challenging the more you play in a raid. Either enemies respawn as reinforcements or something.
Once you clear a map, you're free to explore without any threats, which could get boring.
Nice, i'll check out the update later, be nice if they add a hot key for healing at some point.
This game reminds me of not only Tarkov, but GR:AW and even GR:Breakpoint. Can't wait for more updates.
holding ctrl while clicking in a loot item will grab the item, so you don't have to drag and drop.
Loving the game!!
I found Lumen to not have a huge hit on my system's performance. However, the random stuttering was noticable. Still, pretty good considering how early in development it is.
The complaints about trivial AI have kinda kept me away from this and just wait for GZW. I know this is EA, but maybe I'll take another look. Good to hear you've made a recovery from being hijacked!
Also if you play 2-3 times and you will know the map. its wayyyy to small and strangely made to funnel you in certain directions. Feels like a bluedrake game lmao.
Slide the AI difficulty slider up. You'll find out in a hurry that the AI are no joke.
I still play with custom difficulty to be honest. I found a good config and want to stick with it. Its good the game has that option, otherwise, Red River would have the same problem that Ready Or Not had if we were all stuck with the same, unchangable AI.
@@benjaminburns4412I have a feeling bluedrake is tied to this somehow
only thing ive had trouble with is putting suppressors on guns. some times they go sometimes they dont lol
I stopped paying the game because I couldnt hear footsteps at all and that why I died a lot. But Ill try it again in few weeks.
Will the carrying capacity of the backpack affect the character's movement speed? If so, can players place it on the ground first and then retrieve it after the battle is over?
Yes, and yes. The guns ergonomics makes a big difference as well, and a backpack full of broken down M4s slows my running speed down quite a bit.
Can I run solo in this game?
Doesn't the game save to the steam cloud ?
Are missions repetitive? Will the a.i. appear at the same place at the same time? That gets boring fast.
AI changes spawn locations. The missions are repetitive but there is multiple variations of each to keep is kind of fresh. Its a fun relaxing game in its current state
Game runs great on my RTX3060 on Epic with lumin on.
This game needs lootable grenades.
Does this game have free look?
i really like this game.
@1:02 how did you check the ammo? I've been playing 40 hours but didn't notice I can check the ammo.
hold "R" bro
Talk with SomeOrdinaryGamers about security and VMs
Does this game has controller support?
now that helldivers 2 is on fire i am thinking of jumping ship and this game looks pretty good i just have a few things to ask you can you play with random or do you either play this game solo or with friends ? and dues it have the fun factor do you enjoy playing this or gray zone ? because im thinking about playing that as well
Secure intel has been in the game day one.
I was chain completing tasks/missions for hours and hours straight trying to unlock and try out as much as I could, and never once had a Secure Intel mission. So I guess it's new to me.
@@OfficialInvictus I hear ya, keep up the content man .
What game is that?
Do you have your glasses on, lol. Incursion Red River is the name and its a singleplayer/co-op extraction shooter.
are you dumb?
I had all traders max level with a kitted inventory in 3 hours, good game but needs more maps, story quests, and a trader rework.
내 도파민게임
Secure intel is not new. Been in the game since launch. That’s the one thing keeping me away from this game. Same missions over and over gets pretty boring quick for me. I do enjoy the gameplay im just waiting for new missions. I think the road map said within six months they will add some new missions.
Anyone else think it's hilarious that bsg is completely self imploding? I'm a EOD owner and it's total bs what they are doing and not happy about it.. but.. it is hilarious 😂.. I can find funny in anything even if I'm affected by it too lol
Is it just me or those hand models really look familiar?
this game is Meh at best. Absolutely shit A.I.
Now if only Void got their heads out of their asses, and fixed ready or not…
