Cool vid. I was wondering why my WRR felt so freaking heavy when it was laying on it's side!

If you can't afford a gym, just lift the WR 20 times and you'll be jacked. It truly is the bike that does it all

Just got a new-to-me WR. Dropped it a couple times and when attempting to pick it up I thought.... Jeeez, this thing is heavy. I had been hearing how light the bike was. When trying to pick it up, it doesn't feel so light. In fact, I struggled. I'm a fairly big guy and had the same question you apparently had. Exactly how much weight am I picking up? Also, if the bike falls and it is as a slight incline... like on an uphill ride, it is even heavier. I searched You Tube to see if I could find someone who had the same question and a solution on how to pick these things up. If you know anyone who has a good vid on HOW to pick these up, reply in comment. By the way, Great Video.

    hey Jammarules
Man I have crashed several times in a days riding, and the WR gets heavy after multiple attempts to pick up
but I would rather pick up a WR than a bigger adventure bike,( thumbs up from Alaska )

Like the science! Might be more accurate with the wheels on a ramp so the handlebar can touch the ground without the foot pegs taking any weight.
Just curious if you're having trouble dropping the bike a lot, are you standing up when the trail gets gnarly? Way easier to balance and do low speed tricky stuff when standing and you can shift your weight on the footpegs. Good enduro riders (of which I am not one) rarely sit down unless the trail is smooth. megs braap is another shorter youtuber, has some good riding tips.

I stand up almost all the time. I've been dumping it when I stall the bike. So I need to learn more clutch control, I think. Maybe need to slip the clutch more so I don't stall.

@@jammarules Hmm, my only suggestion for that might be to use second more than first gear, even at walking speed or slower stuff. Sounds paradoxical, but I've found my WR is more reluctant to stall that way. I think it's because it forces you to slip the clutch more, and not accidentally let it it completely without realizing, but also the bike is happier to have the engine lug, Graham Jarvis style, because you have the throttle opened wider than you would in first.

They don't. They have their man do it for them! Just joking. Women can do it no problem.

Or just take measurements from two different lean angles and do the math for the rest. Your way was more entertaining to watch tho!

I tried figuring out a center of gravity formula but I said, f it... Engineers would probably get their pens out instantly if they saw this and come back with an exact weight.
