i think your fine to almost 2" with the FZ6R. only clearance issue is the horn but some either bend the bracket up and relocate the horn. thanks for the comment!
Thanks man, yeah they arent too pretty in stock form but fender eliminator and lowing the front end give it a sportier look. Next is get rid of the huge mirrors. I will be swapping mirrors from the zx6r.
Very nice. I have the same bike and it's my sixth motorcycle. I just added a TBR exhaust with the Driven block off plates as well. I'm going to ride it for a bit to see what I think before buying the Power Commander. How does lowering the front end change the handling? Thanks.
Really nice bike. Liked and subbed. I really want an R6, but I'm 22 and the insurance is A THOUSAND DOLLARS A MONTH for full coverage!!! That tells you how bad the odds are... They basically expect you to total the bike within a year. I plan on getting the FZ6R and riding that until I turn 25 when my insurance goes down, and then get an R6. It's probably for the best anyways though. I would speed my ass off on an R6 and I know it. At least this way I'll have a solid 3 years of riding experience and I'll appreciate the R6 that much more.
this bike is basically a detuned r6. i had a 07 zx6r back when i was 17 and insurance was 225 a month full coverage. so i sold that and got this. I paid 300 a year for insurance until i got a speeding ticket and then it went up to 580 a year. so just dont get a ticket
KFXtravis Jesus H Christ. Insurance more than doubling from one speeding ticket is insane. You should have put it on your parents insurance policy, unless you live on your own/hate their guts or something.

Not sure if you still have this bike but how did it turn and ride after lowering it? I'm thinking of getting clip ons but still want to feel safe on the bike.
this is how they looked in 09. if your fz6r has graphics on it they can be removed with a heat gun except the ones on the tank. the ones on the tank are clear coated over so there is no way to remove them without repainting

I have this bike, believe me when I say it has plenty of power, I'm 260 and it pulls me like nothing, love this bike

***** i think it was a combinaton of the ticket and I finished college so I lost my good student discount. its only money! hahaha
loosen the allen bolts holding the forks to the tree and slowly let it slide down to where you want it being sure to lower each side evenly.

dunno yolo feels pretty good, as soon as i got the bike i installed all the performance stuff so i cant really say the difference they made

Guys never lower more than an inch and a half. Or else you'll encounter problems going over bumpy roads
