Excellent! And that dog is adorable!! My grooming experience only dates back to the start of covid (pricey hobby and not as easy at it looks) and is limited to my 2 shih tzus that would rather be outside. Good trick for feet. And that dome hair cut thing! solves my 3 stooges hair cut issue. lol There's so much to know technique wise and I only have one breed! Props to you. You are obviously skilled,
Can you cover in future toenails and esp dew claws. My dogs dew claws are approaching a circle coz I'm too scared to do them! I have to take them to a groomer for just those.

Hi there Josh, I just came across your channel and I'm really enjoying your teaching. I opened my own shop about 6 mos ago and I've already had to close my books, it's such a huge blessing but looking for ways to become a little quicker without sacrificing my quality. So 1st thank you for the tips, cant wait to try some of them out. 2nd, what anti stat/scissor spray/conditioning spray would you reccomend to help lift the coat and keep the hair firm when scissoring?? Thanks in advance for your time.

That 40 trick on the visor is pretty amazing, the bend back of the head into the neck I’ve done on Bichons never on a shitzu. This puppy model is next level hilarious CBD all the way 🤣🤣

Some constructive criticism
This is a great video and learning to grooming. Some awesome techniques and probably will use in the future.
But if this was my dog, I would upset with your handling. The dogs movements, stance or adjustments was inconveniencing your grooming seminar.
You are so good. Especially with that little guy. That is how one of my dogs acts. I get so frustrated. I keep watching your videos in hopes of learning.

What would you like to see? I use a variety of Wahl clippers and a variety of shears with convex edges.
Hello everyone. Just wondering if anyone can share their experience with Shihtsu puppy 5 months being shaved. As I was reading they have double coat and shaving might damage the coat permanently. Foes it grows back completely? If you have any thought or experience please share.

Seriously......he starts off holding the tail down in a forceful manner, then wonders why the dog is lifting his leg to pee. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out. I don't like this guy's manner. Macho no bueno.
i have a havanese with a double coat. my km 5 with a metal comb won't cut the hair. what clipper with a comb
would cut through the coat?

my shih tzu has very bad hair its like dry he looks like a street dog I don't know what to do when i take him to the park i see other dogs and they have soft and shiny hair i cant take him were they fix his hair all the people i know that they have dogs and took them there all the dogs are injured or dead. I don't know what to do products don't help my dog!!!

If the dog is this distressed, then it is NOT a good demo. I couldn't even get past the first two minutes, watching him yanking that dog's tail down hard, and then laughing at him when he raised his leg. This guy is sick.
The leash is choking him ! It’s to high up he Could barley sit down 😤 it’s giving me anxiety
Lol your anxiety is unwarranted that leash is not choking that dog and if any looser the dog could fall off that table easily.
The leash is not there to let the dog "sit" the dog needs to be standing. As you can clearly observe the dog is not "Choking" at all. This is an excellent opportunity to learn from a professional and get a professional Groom at Home. Excellent video.

Hi, I have a shihtzu - she's 5.5 years old, and I have had her shaved since she was a puppy. No problems at all with her coat growing back. Wish it would grow back a little slower, though 🙂
