Even as a non Man United fan (I'm a Ipswich Town fan) I have such deep respect for United - what Busby and Sir Alex achieved is incredible. Sir Alex is the greatest manager of all time.
@@kieranking6990 not sure that's something to be proud of right now. My only disappointment is that Smith has been sacked as he was doing a marvellous job.
I’ll remember in 96 when I fell in love with United. The love has never failed and then the triple in 99. What a rich experience to be a United fan on to the death bed. Glory Glory Man Utd.
Simply brilliant movie/ documentary.i have been United supporter since 1951. Have been privileged to see the Busby babes play since 1954. This movie was such a euphoric recall. Witnessed the best club in the world play until present and congratulations to all involved in the making of this movie.
I sometimes forget how horrible it was supporting man utd back then Waiting until the bitter end for every win almost nerves completely shot for the last 7 mins to put you right into euphoria with the best team in the world
I have been a Utd supporter since 1996, so i guess im still a baby, but one thing i have prided myself on is knowing the history of my club inside out. Utd i do and will always love u.
I was 12 in 1968 when I watched them beat Benfica, on our black and white tv. What a great night that was. I first saw the team play in 1964, when my grandfather took me to Old Trafford. That's a great memory, being abe to see Best, Law and Charlton play right in front of me.
United is much bigger that I thought. They been through so much. If that plane hadn't crashed, they would've won some more European trophies. Simply Amazing!
I’ve supported United since 1970 ever since I saw George Best with the long flowing hair in a poster dribbling at full pelt. Together with Denis Law and Bobby Charlton, they were my heroes.
I’ve been a Manchester United supporter since 1954 68 years and counting and I was in the Nou camp when Manchester United beat Bayern Munich 2 - 1 to win the treble
As a United fan outside the UK I always want to learn more about the clubs history and what made it the powerhouse that it is(not as of late). What Sir. Alex Ferguson achieved with this club is remarkable. Greatest manager of all time
Bruv man united has such a rich and unique history to like literally to any club our history is just up and down man and you know what Manchester united was created by railroad people so for me I think this is a reason why united have such a rocky history and also it's life , life has no favourites it's always out there for anyone or anything but anyway I hope than man united can go back to the glory days ggmu
I'll say this... I always respected Sir Alex, venturing to the San Siro... checking on Milan before any and every match we ever were about to play against ManU... many times, ManU were the scariest team we could ever face. Strong defense and poachers all over their attacking side. Respect to ManU... and their haters can go to hell. Respect should be given to a Scholes, Giggs, Beckham side, no doubt. Just as ive watched my English friends drop their jaw when they saw Maldini straight phuk a striker out of the ball. I get it. Rooney did the same to me with some of his goals. The Wayne was like Dr Poach-a-Qunt.. i loved watching him play. Lol.. many times i felt like keeper would simply fly into the goal, as well, just for trying to catch the ball.. Soooo funny. Dont lose faith, ManU fans... you aren't just history. You're still amongst the greats, making up part of the myriad of roots of the beautiful game. Salute!
I love this comment as a United fan. Honestly, around that time, AC Milan were probably the most feared Italian club, simply because of Maldini and Nesta. Milan should always be one of the most respected clubs in the world because of their history.
Munich happened because the FA forced United to come back when the weather did not allow the flight to take place. They were told they would forfeit points for the League match on the weekend if they did not play it.
MY FATHER WAS UNITED FAN WEN I WAS SO YOUNG I TOLD ME ALL ABOUT MANCHESTER UNITED END I FELL LOVE END BECOME UNITED FAN ALMOST NOW 40 YEARS MY FATHER DIED IN OCTOMBRE 24 2020 IM WATCHING THE GAMES ALONE NOW 😭😭😭
You sure?? We don’t want you watching ! Go watch a Liverpool documentary, oh sorry there is none coz no one cares about them unless it’s about Hillsboro
Was the role of Keano not played up in this doc cos of his relationship with Ferguson ...Keano was the main man and led us on and off the field ...no Keano and none of this success would have come our way ...as you see with the team since ...no ball winner no leader no guts ...the biggest player has been left out ...ask any player around him who was the man ...let them put you right!!
He gets left out of everything and it’s a disgrace! Even Steve Mcclaren talks about Keane being the one to say when they have days off from training that’s how influential he was and every player says he was main person and I think Ferguson is scared of him taking his thunder as he knows it was Keane who controlled the players. Our most influential player in our most successful period
Yes keane was our best captain but the one who gets underrated is beckham and it’s crazy. Becky was balon dor runner up twice. I mean he was the second best player in the world and only lost out twice to rivaldo, yet people act like scholes more influential than him in that team.
As soon as seen muppets like Rashford and todays players you get a depressing feeling! How did I players get so bad! We will never win nothing with Rashford, Maguire etc
Not bad documentary but not worth paying for you can get this for free it’s all over TH-cam and there’s only that one random guy speaking about united they should have had ex players
Need a new manager & coaching team fast we have a decent squad yes we need to replace Fred OGS has done his best but that’s all he can do so make the change fast !!!! 3 years trying to but sancho & boy is on the bench WTF. VDB should be playing I’m gobsmacked at times with OGS .
Err - no! It was a complete accident. It was a snowy afternoon and some of the snow melted on the plane and froze back up again, becoming ice on the wings and weighing the plane down during take off attempts. Admittedly, it would have been wiser to stop after the first attempt but the pilot tried to take off twice more, crashing into some houses just off the end of the runway on that third attempt. What prompted the repeated take offs was the fact that they had a game fixtured for that weekend, this having been a midweek fixture, just as also usually happens these days. No one at the club has ever suggested that an opposition team either murdered, or tried to murder, the players. If you want to believe in wild conspiracies stick with the Alex Jones videos.
@@oleggorky906 i think you need to calm down and wind ya neck in, i said it was a theory and at the end of the day just because someone has told you thats how it happened does not mean its fact... RIP to all the fallen reds in 58 they may look down on us and see what we have achieved as a club. A red till the day i die
Post Ferguson looks very much the same as post Busby doesn’t it……wow, looking forward to it.
Gotta give both sides love!!!!!

European Cup 1968....after Glasgow Celtic 1967 - made up of Glasgow born players! 2 great teams put the UK on the football world map!
Rooney signed in 2004 not 2006 that's a huge error in a documentary
nice even tho am a liverpool fan

watching for some nostalgia :/
George best, Eric Cantona the best lplayers
No mention of 2009-11 champions league finals.
Completely ignores the success and excitement of Tommy Doc’s team of the mid 70s
7:56 No they were not "devastated" by their semi final loss to Real Madrid.
Glazee OUT!

Bit unfair on the Docherty & Sexton years - there was plenty of fun in those years...even in Ron Atkinson's time
42:54 worldcup English fan😂 iykyk
No mention of the doc or big Ron 😮
Well he didn’t achieve anything
Glazers out
So agree with you. He is more focused on what will give him money while he tries to destroy the heart of what makes Man Untd who they are.

Honestly I still feel Mourinho was the man……
Cant believe that guy got the ronaldo story so wrong
MAnchester United signed wayne rooney in 2004

Terry Cooke
Id say players like Rooney were part of are downfall with pogba! Players that are obsessed with press
SPINE TINGLING
Theory : Busby Babes were killed cus they were certain to win so they were removed...? Jus a thought 💙
plus they crushed in munich..........coincidence?

What a ridiculous thing to suggest
