Thank you for the video. Is this the same appraoch when trying to reattach plastic tabs that provide an anchor point for plastic retainer clips? I have a side skirt for my 04 Matrix I am trying to repair.
The glue method is old school and superficial. Alternatively, you can melt some steel mesh in behind the crack to hold it together. Nothing beats the hot air welder

Your videos are excellent. Concise, clear and instructive. And no superfluous music that is annoying and pointless. Thank you
That turned out great. I have used a hot tip to weld plastic before, but it was not as strong as that!
Agreed, This is the most effective method I've used for plastic welding. The hot tip is great for smoothing these filler rods once they are laid down
Excellent video. I know nothing about auto body repair but it's fascinating to watch how it's done.
Thanks for watching!
What brand hot air welder do you use? Thanks.
It's a pro spot NP-3

Most bumpers are made with polypropylene(PP), but check the stamping on the plastic and match the plastic you are welding
