Aron* what the fu€¥ is a bow line knot. I was a roofer and went to knot u. Never heard of a bow knot. Thank you for sharing your videos and answering my stupid questions!!!
I love how you show when you miss on braining the fish it teaches us exactly when you know the fish is dead rather then assuming because you stabbed it in that spot! Thanks man
Aaron, nothing is a waste of time watching you was perfection. Everybody should be happy for your honest opinion and schooling especially love you show.
This old lady loves your videos and calming voice. I will never get to go to Florida or eat mangrove snapper, grouper, etc. I have always dreamed of going after retirement. My mobility won’t let me due to leukemia. At least I can eat salmon and halibut that can be bought at the store. For that I can be thankful to watch saltwater fishing videos. 😊😊😊
I love watching your videos. Any video is better than no video. Sincerely, someone who’s been watching continuously for over a year now. I love the ocean and the life below the surface. Many many people never get to see this kinda stuff in their lifetime. Thank you for being here❤
One thing that scuba diving helped me get better at is remaining calm during times of slight chaos. Assess the situation, develop a plan of action then proceed deliberately with confidence.
Great video Aaron! Love your videos for many reasons, but this one really brings home about how you value safety and with that, your life. I’m not a diver by any means, but even if I was a newbie or someone with some experience, I would watch you for your lessons of survival, because of how much you care to teach the importance of not putting yourself in harm’s way for any reason. Thanks for sharing!!!
Man…the visibility is unreal. Diving in the northern Gulf is so different. A good day for me is 20 feet of vis. You’re blessed my friend. Great content by the way.
Great job brother! You don’t think a whole lot about it but some of these little tidbits of wisdom might just save someone’s ass one day. Thanks for sharing!
Yes, Mr MT, I liked your comment because I was holding my breath as well. Was so happy that his experience resolved the situation favorably. I love and enjoy watching fishing videos. I have no knowledge of fishing and I’m learning from his teachings. Great job Aaron, Stay safe.❤
First time commenter here. Luv watching your vids with my son, he wants to be you when he grows up. I've always wondered why you never harvest reds, thanks for explaining it in this vid. Keep up the great content!
Love all of your videos. I would LOVE to see a video where you used a three prong Hawaiian sling as opposed to the gun. Would be very interested in hearing your takes on the differences.
@KeyWestWaterman we've been doing that with mangroves and grouper etc forever off marathon, but watching you I realize we've been doing it the hard way. 😆 🤙
Crazy how quick things can get dicey under water! I scuba dive and you always have to be mindful of getting wrapped up in line, old nets and monofilament is the worst, hard to see till you are in it. Love the video and stay safe.
I think a lot of people liked it, I definitely did. Thanks for sharing, been stuck inside all week due to the weather, definitely helped with the can't fish blues.
Aaron, please, from time to time also share videos like these .... It would be very good and at the same time they are enjoyed the same, I began to study English much more to be able to understand what you said in your videos, because the truth is that your videos are the best
Brother, you could film anything without commentating and people will watch and appreciate the content. Moved to Tennessee and we all miss the water. In a way, you bring us back and spark memories from past experiences that lead to happiness, laughter and fellowship. So from my family to yours, thank you! We look forward to watching you and your channel grow 💪🏼
Great job man! I took a break and was watching your buddy blue Gabe and saw this flash up so Gabe had to wait. I would rather watch you dive than anyone else. Love those grouper! Keep it safe man!
Never a waste of time but definitely always and enjoyment bro! Been in north California for the last 6 months and I cannot wait to get back to Florida so i can dive.
I’m not in a good place right now and your vids has always bring me back somewhat to a better place then I was. Thank you again for it and thank you for always trying to respond to us little people! When I plan to go back to Big Pine to visit my family, I hope to charter anything that you offer just once to say that I met you! Thank you!
I was having a rough end of the day. Today's video was pretty damned good at calming me down before bed. It was worth it to me. Great videos as always, always appreciated. Excel at what you're doing and keep it real.
As usual man another great video, I love the way you point out things as a teaching moment biggest thing is when your skin diving or scuba diving is never panic and you’ve illustrated that perfect
Anything you film is great, glad you didn’t get hurt down there, also your camera seems to be picking up great colors, especially the yellows and blues, always a good day when you can bring some grouper home.
I love these dive videos! Seeing all the different species of fish and trying my best to identify them! Can’t wait for your Fish Identification video , gonna be awesome to see! Thanks again for bringing us along!
Man you live the life you show us ,your videos are like little Documentary ,I hope people see this and use this as a learning tool all the little informative hints that adds up what really hit home for me is don’t tuck that end in $$$ Thank you and Keep em coming
Absolutly amazing footage Dibbs! ON A THURSDAY!!! THANKS so much for the time and effort you put into showing the videos! Any Dibbs footage is GREAT footage!!!
Bro I appreciate this vid so much! Never actually seen a tangle and how easily it can happen. I learned something about how to deal with it. Assess the situation first before choosing what to do. Might not need to just drop the belt. But to know that it’s an clear option when things go bad so quickly. You’ve probably saved a few lives with this vid bro.
I have only been to the keys one time in my life but I can see why some stay there their whole life. A water person's heaven on earth. I can imagine what you see and how you feel being on these beautiful coral reefs full of life and beauty. Hope it keeps you young and stay safe.
That tip about the weight belts is a very good PSA. I wouldn't have known not to tuck in the extra. Have you ever thought of taking a rattle or other noise maker to see if fish come to check it out? Rattling lures catch fish, they might call fish out from the rocks or make them hesitate if you make the right sounds. I wonder if it would help with bottom fish and also wahoo or other pelagics.
Well done. This brought back some good old diving on the Atlantic side of the isthmus. Dad got caught up on a big jewfish, at that time he was running 600 lb test SS braided leader. The old Aluminum VOIT guns. The leader caught around his fingers. He was able to get to his Buck Nemo and with a single swipe, cut through that leader and got topside. Said he never panicked, just awareness of the situation and what needed to get done. He got that jewfish. He also taught me the same on the weight belt. Had me practice the release sometimes. Never ever wrap the tag end around the belt. Enjoyed the vid.
Good afternoon, young brother. Listen, I see you dive past the Atlantic Spadefish. If you haven't tried one, maybe you should. A nice thick one, awesome filets, and tasty, too.
Hi Aaron, great vlogs nicely narrated and appreciate the respect you have for the ocean and the lifestyle you have chosen! Could I ask that you do a simple video of your breathing exercises/ technique that you use when free diving. I just thought it would be good to get your personal take on it!
I want you to know that I've learned so much from your videos. Having been an experienced diver for 10+ years, took a break for a few years, then switching to freediving for spearing has been a whole new mindset of diving. I just bought a marseilles style weight belt a month ago after owning a traditional soft pouch belt for 20+ years. I hated it, had to crank it tight to keep in place, then while watching your videos, did some homework on the silicone belts you use and made the switch. A lot of people may not know/understand the silicone weight belt concept, so maybe you can do a video explaining the why's behind some of your specific gear. I'd also like to know more about your floating fish flasher setup. Researching building one for myself. Stay safe!
thats awesome really love to hear it! I plan on making alot of informational type videos in the near future for all the beginners. so much stuff I just do without thinking anyone. that I picked up on my own throughout the years.
I'm like your fan no 1 just waiting on every notification of you Chanel.😅😅. Nice video man, I think you're like my age but now I can't dive as you do. I used to get to 120 f but now I only can do 40, 😅😅😅. Good job, men, I envy on all your trips.
Headed to Hawaii tomorrow for 10 days (Big Island and Maui). Several dive/spear charters on the books. The key take - away 60-70% air supply on every dive. Safety First! Thanks for sharing.
This footage was not a waste of time, thank you very much Aaron!
🙏
Why do you say that
Aron* what the fu€¥ is a bow line knot. I was a roofer and went to knot u. Never heard of a bow knot. Thank you for sharing your videos and answering my stupid questions!!!

Your surface technique was fun to listen to in this one. As always, big respect for the way you dispatch the harvest. Gee new!

🙏
A dive is never useless we always learn from it. We always enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Very nice

I learn something from each of your videos. Your experience is priceless.
love to hear that! if I learn at least one thing I consider it a good day.
One thing that scuba diving helped me get better at is remaining calm during times of slight chaos. Assess the situation, develop a plan of action then proceed deliberately with confidence.
thats good!

Love all of your videos. I would LOVE to see a video where you used a three prong Hawaiian sling as opposed to the gun. Would be very interested in hearing your takes on the differences.
love to hear it! and probably wouldn't go well with most of the species we hunt. but maybe one day!
@KeyWestWaterman we've been doing that with mangroves and grouper etc forever off marathon, but watching you I realize we've been doing it the hard way. 😆 🤙

This was great - that first reef was so pretty and had so much life on it, I just enjoyed looking around at it.

love to hear it! and I haven't alot of times we use the throw flashers or just make some commotion in the sand
Finding a great new video dropped on a Thursday afternoon. What sorcery is this?!?!
haha
Cool video! Really enjoyed the raw footage.
glad you enjoyed it!
Aaron, Good video when I free dive I always have a Spear Air Tank on my weight belt just incase I need it you should get one.
not a fan of that, just more equipment to carry. Again I never push myself to a point where I should need it.
Amazing video as always.. you are a teacher my friend

Educational as always. Why do you keep looking at your watch in the video? Thanks and keep up the great work.
looking at my surface interval, how long I've been breathing up
Never a waste of time. Thanks Aaron
thanks so much
I want you to know that I've learned so much from your videos.
