718 Boxster! Such an amazing car!
I'm hoping to order the abarth 124 spider when they announce US release dates. boxster is just out of price range though I am a porsche fan as much as an abarth fan (owned a 500 abarth)

At 1.50 you say the only option on the abarth is Sat Nav. This is not true in UK market. BOSE is extra, rear camera available on Lusso Plus is not listed and not fitted, LED lights are extra. Some of these are standard on Lusso Plus. It makes the Abarth very expensive if you want these. I have a Honda S2000 and an Accord Estate. It's easy to reverse the estate but very tricky in S2000 so I wanted the camera on the Spider.
I owned a 124 spider Abarth and it was great fun! Though I would definitely if I could afford one grab a 718 Boxster S

I have a 718 Boxter & love driving the very beautiful looking car. I haven’t driven fiat or Mazda so I can’t comment on them.
Rally Abarth 124 takes it... but I guess this about convertibles and the 718 is going to be amazing.

I don't know ..... the Abarth just hasn't captured my heart like the tiny 500 has. I know many reviewers are obviously comparing it to the MX5, but there's nothing in the Abarth to pull me away from the MX5 ... apart from the performance. Mazda, like the Toyota GT86 has dropped the ball in terms of performance.
But if you're into it ....

To call a Mazda Miata an Abarth 124 Spider is so beyond ridiculous that it is borderline "Bait & Switch" fraud. Let me predict the annual sales: 5. Anyone who discovers the truth about this car and attempts to learn anything about Abarth will shake their head and laugh.
What's beyond ridiculous is your comment considering Carlo Abarth built his company on modifying other manufacturer's products.

I have rather Porsche 718 Boxster ove the fiat 124 spyder.
I've now test driven both cars and I've got to say that I'm totally converted. The fiat is indeed a Mazda with different clothing. And the Porsche is just so overpriced for what it is.
I would definitely take the fiat. The Porsche can piss off.
I'd rather have the Porsche because it will be much more reliable than the shitty "Fiat".

granted, Mazda will be producing the 124 spider. has Mazda parts and paint. even transmission is mazda's. it's a Miata with the 500 abarth's turbo 1.4. never had issues with my abarth 500 engine, so I'm not too worried. beats having an IMS failure on a 986 used boxster.

+Brian1612 Will also add the engines in hese cars a bullet proof and way more reliable then anything German. Electrics on the other hand are so so... I can be honest unlike German rimming rent boys ;)
