You two would love Inhaca Island in Mozambique to snorkel in. It's super cheap there too. Beautiful beaches, looooads of different fish in the seas, clear waters and friendly locals.
Hi im a maldivian my grandfather co-owns a hotel called Si beach house, you guys should check it out next time when you go to thulusdhoo. and i also love how you guys actually respected our religion that is just so amazing love you guys so much hope yall have fun byee!!
Just came across your channel by the wonders of TH-cam recommendations. Really enjoying your content and story telling. Just one thing to put right! Moray Eels like most all creatures in the sea are not inherently dangerous. Like most wild life, they will always try and flee the area than attack. An attack is always there very last resort and only happens if they are cornered and cant escape. While Moray Eels have some serious teeth, it is actually not the bite itself that poses the threat but the fact that they feed mainly on cadaver of dead see creatures. As a result a Moray Eel bite can cause blood poisoning. As a scuba instructor I have seen countless Moray Ells in the Med and Red Sea and have never had a bad moment watching them.
I live in Maldives and I m gonna be brutally honest,I hate it here lmao, you guys seems so happy and excited to visit a new place so that is kinda cool and admiring dho
Local businesses have to pay their staff in US dollars too. So the businesses ask for dollars, which they have to "buy", if you don't pay in dollars. It's not a rip-off, it's only logical. If they put their prices in USD and you decide to not pay in dollars, it's not their problem, it is yours. Male is far away, the Male exchange rate doesn't apply on the local islands. There are no dollar ATMs on the local islands, so bring USD cash. Don't refer to your exchange rate app because it's just unfair, the Maldives are and island state, this is why western food is expensive too, btw. You can get anything, and that's what the resorts provide, but it comes with a price tag. 35USD for a snorkelling trip, how do you think these people should maintain their boats so tourists are safe, how to make a living and pay their staff so that they can make a living? Weird sort of tourism with a return of the cheap mentality. I hope not too many people like this. Instead spend a bit more and leave a decent tip.
Tipping is garbage culture. If the resort doesn't pay their staff well it doesn't mean you push the burden to the customers. Instead of bittching about less pay and expecting a tip go complain to the resort owner and the government. The low wages of the employee is the problem created by greedy business owners and a lazy government, not the customers
Why do local businesses have to pay in US dollars? That's the problem. Instead of defending the problem and asking customers to comply with ridiculous rules maybe realise that the blame is on whichever department decided that only dollars will be used to pay the local staff
Loved your Maldives series, shows how can one travel within budget in Maldives. I'm visiting there in March & staying in Thulusdhoo. Should I do dolphin spotting on one day & the full day excursion on the other day? Also, any must-do thing in thulusdhoo?
hi!! great video, finally someone speak about all the part of a trip! thank you... when have you been there? did someone surf? I mean are there some surf able waves at this season? thank you
Thanks for sharing your budget-friendly Maldives experience! Your video is truly amazing, showcasing that a dream destination like the Maldives is within reach for everyone. Can't wait for the next video! 🌴
This is my island, i was born here. Yes there is cheap ways and this is one of the way you can experience the sunny side of Maldives. If anyone needs any help please reach me out i will be happy to help you.
I feel so sorry, that you didn`t find the best place for food - Byyoni Cafe, huge piece of local tuna in mushroom souce just for 5$....loads of other tasty dishes over there, hardly suggested to everyone, who wisits Thulusdhoo. Alsoo Season Paradise hotel is the best place to stay over there, swiming pool on the roof, everyday shows and lovely administrator Juna....
Pilot whales are indeed lovely animals. 2:20 - 8 Pounds Sterling comes to 14 Canadian Dollars. Not cheap at all! 2:40 - $$$ Trump$ Religion, as it has always done... Sharks and rays will not usually attack you unless there is a shortness of food in the area. Great video! I know that what we are seeing on your videos were filmed in your present but we will see them in the future. Ah, the power of editing...
Dude i literally live in this island let me tell you its not cheap your using dollar and that's because it is cheap but for us its not cheap we have to use rufiyaa insted of doller in maldives for 1 doller it 15 rufiyaa so bro it not cheap so for you it literally 450 rufiyaa in here sorry😭

What month did you guys go to the Maldives? How was the weather like?
and where you guys booked the doplhin tour so cheap? In our hotel its much more expensive
Go to the beach, and look for people selling tours, the hotels will most likely always have more expensive tours which are exactly the same!

Maldives is too expensive . One gets better value and more pristine beaches in Lakshadweep
Bro have you ever seen a maldives beach in real life 👀
Lakshadeep is nothing compare to Maldives. You don't know what you talk about. Just nonsense talk.
Laksha deep don't have any infrastructure and. facility. No , outer reef and not very rich in Marine life as Maldives.
