Lunar got 34fps in antiac's lobby and with exact same settings, I got 152fps with Badlion
I Get 1000 FPS, then it goes down 100 FPS
Bro idk why by on lunar I get 20 fps on badlion i gr 143 on feather I get 2000 and on the normal minecraaft launcher I get 1500 ITS WEIRD

lunar's FPS is really unstable. I remember the FPS dropping after playing for around one hour.

what settings you use for badlion motion blur?
“Badlion Blur” at 70%
what editing software does my guy use its so clean!!
i am not sure i play with shaders and badlion just gives 100 fps with it
while lunar gives me more than 250 fps
lunar is cpu heavy so its using less gpu alowing use of shaders at higher fps
the only issue i have with badlion is the amount of ads

Lunar client Has Like way worse ads for like cereal and Normal ads but badlion Just gives premium ad Which is Way better
Lunar isn't as intrusive tho, the only place where ads are shown is on the launcher. Badlion has cosmetic ads on the launcher, and sometimes when you launch it (when new cosmetics drop), and there are premium ads in the mod menu and the esc menu. But to be fair, Badlion only shows ads about itself, Lunar shows third-party ads.

also, Lunar uses a program named "zula platform 64x architecture" and it consumes like 5000 of ram, i play fps and the ram that it consumes are a bunch less
They used to use java like everybody else, ever since they switched to zulu ive been having issues with lunar
bro i love badlion, but i launch tekno's blur once, and now it says i dont have enough ram to run it again. with lunar, i can still play
Lunar client mostly uses GPU which is inside the CPU (Intel UHD Graphic for example), while badlion uses the GPU you have on your PC which gives you more FPS
lunar has a whole guide which tells you how to make lunar use dedicated gpu instead of intergrated gpu
I had this exact issue with lunar on my old laptop and i couldnt change lunar using my intel hd graphics because i was on windows 7 back then
The fps problem is using wrong performance settings

fps for clients also come down to other things i get 3x the fps with lunar ... also remember the good old times where people could xray / esp each other with badlion

lunar client motion blur is simply disgusting but i dont get the fps thing tho as i get 2x more on lunar than on anything else

Thb the reason i also moved to badlion is fps smoothness but also IT HAS A PING DIFFERENCE in lunar I'm lag backing every few second and in badlion there is no lag back I mean what how is that even possible
Ngl thinking im going to switch to badlion for 1.7.10 to 1.8.9.
Clients have just become too bloated in my opinion. Forge suits my needs. Not saying you should discard clients and switch to forge, but that's just me. Lunar definitely needs to take a step back from the cosmetics, though.
What its doing its just not rendering frames not showing on ur monitor so thats why it shows up 600+ fps
A. Lunar Client does that too. In other scenarios it'll show higher FPS like Badlion
B. I have a 270hz monitor, so if Lunar was using that somehow, i'd have 270 fps.

thats from when i was zoomed in, so it wasnt rendering any of the other stuff that it showed when i zoomed out

Yo, i had the exact same problem as you, i was getting 90 fps using sodium 1.21 with shaders, and 8 fps on lunar.
It turned out lunar uses a lot of high settings that you dont need on default, and after changing all of them, i managed to get 1100 fps INSIDE of bedwars on 1.8.9, while my fps record on SODIUM was 800 fps in singleplayer 1.21
I’ve spent ages optimizing Lunar, and I’m pretty sure I’ve got it as good as it’s gonna get. If you mean the settings in the “performance” tab on Lunar, most of those also sacrifice visual quality, so I don’t have them on. I also have their Badlion equivalents turned off as well.
If the mods are such a big deal for you why not switch to feather?
The frames on feather 1.8 suck imo

@@OfirRosenberg reduce input lag, reduce screen tearing stutering ghost/blur, smoother for recording streaming, eye comfort so ye ur just wrong ontop motion blur becomes way better when u go over ur monitors refresh rate

yeah badlion is great but lunars cosmetics are better and i went to the hypixel lobby aswell and got 600+ fps on lunar
For me 170 FPS isn’t bad
rtx 4060 laptop user here, lunar uses up to 80% of my gpu giving me 90 fps stable (max settings + shaders), while badlion uses only 40% of my gpu giving me 50 fps stable (max settings + shaders). stop the badlion propaganda smh
apparently with shaders it works differently, since Lunar is CPU heavy and Badlion is GPU heavy. So my assumption would be that Lunar is better with shaders, Badlion is better without?
nevermind I just saw you replied to the other guy and debunked that? so now idk. at least for me Badlion gives better frames than Lunar as shown in the video, but maybe I’ll do a short testing it with shaders?
i have an rtx 4060 laptop and i get over 2k fps on badlion and about 700 on lunar. Dont listen to this lunar client user

@@ignSotrix i tested it without shaders and youre right, badlion gets stable 400+ fps while lunar gets unstable 200-450 fps in the exact same test, so ig if u have a low end system, badlion is the obvious choice
to me badlion and lunar war is placebo couse i dont notice any diffrance also i play on 1.7 so i use lunar
On my laptop lunar gets more fps than badlion and badlion has some weird ass freezes which annoy me, but ngl badlion is good a client for 1.8 pvp

honestly u might just be using bad lunar settings to get that bad fps, tho i agree badlion has the best fps, but seriously how tf does vanilla mc get more is crazy
I’ve spent YEARS making sure my lunar settings are the best they can be, it’s genuinely just that much worse for me.
Love Lunar, but that’s just sad.

i got 500 fps on my laptop with no gpu in badlion and lunar around 300 now i got a pc with a 3070 and still badlion performs better
