Shane is my favorite youtube hunting personality / channel. Doesn't push brands, gear, bows, etc.... just is an old school hunter who does it the right way.
It's hard to get a good range reading with all that grass in the way. I missed a nice mule deer because i couldn't get a range. I estimated 30 yards, but he must have been further.
Hes good to watch not trying to show off, act as a know it all, just a good ole boy out hunting. I wonder if my ez-v bowsight would do better in this habitat? I never range dont carry one, its so easy. But im hunting 20 30 yard pinches, not this habitat.
@@ShaneSimpsonHunting Me neither. I range using my site pins. Sort of like using your finger or thumb. I like 3 to 5 pins. Helps with bow cant. Learn to size the target by the amount of site pins in the body. 3D advantage in a no range finder tourny.

He does advertise for OnX Hunt, but he doesn't push it, he just shows its practical use in his hunts
I love these videos! Style of hunting and your efforts on camera angle and editing for us to be in the action with you!
Appreciate it 👍
Always next time!!! If a guy hasn’t bow hunted he’ll never know what it’s like
And then add all the self-recording setups. He puts a lot of time into hunts like this
Absolutely some of the views he gives of his hunts are amazing.
ONE OF THE BEST CHANNELS ON THE TUBE!
Great vid Shane.
What bow is that?
Appreciate it. It's an old Mathews Creed XS
Great video Shane, showing it how it is
Cool camera angles .. always innovating.
Thank you for another good one Shane! Loved it!

That sucks but you'll bounce back. I can't judge distance if I can't see the ground, i.e. high grass, rolling hill. Definitely makes it tougher.
Dang I know that feeling. Keep your head up and keep going and you get another shot. Awesome footage as always
You always impress with all of the different camera angles, Shane. You'll get him next time! Great footage and hunt.
Thanks man!
Anytime you are outdoors doing what you love...I consider it a good hunt. Good luck and stay safe brother.
Cubby
Good effort and that’s why they named it HUNTING instead of Killing!!!!
you grunted and snort wheezed at that half rack and you could see it in his face, he was like "no thanks, I'm still recovering"
Right? 🤣
Great video Shane!!! At least you was in the game!!!! Sorry things didn’t work out. But that hunting
Man I love your videos!! THP, Catman, and yourself are my favorites on YT. I’m from Rock Hill, Go Bearcats. C/O 1995
Go Bearcats! Class of '94
Man after watching you guys on the battle of the bows with the hunting beast crew and now this I’m convinced that Nebraska tag is a tough one to fill.
Don’t lose your faith in your skills and abilities. That’s hunting! 👍

Awesome footage! Hate you swung and missed twice😢😢
Me too. Lol
Great camera work as usual Shane. Maybe next time you sure put in the effort.
Whats on that half racks side of face? His other side growing straight down?
Yes, that is the right side antler. I'm assuming it was damaged while in velvet.
Stick with them this season
Good huntin’!
Been there done that, matter of fact I’ve done that more than the other.
Rangefinders are built-in on a good set of upgraded sites.
Yeah but I can't afford those. lol

Tough man
Dang!
Shane do you see/hear many pheasants out there?
A few here and there. I mostly see grouse.
Yo Shane what call was that after you grunted at that buck?
Snort wheeze
