Jay does indeed set the bar very high! 😁
for corsairs i use arbalesters as my front rank, hide the rest behind them. if you have shots take them, if not, advance. high defence against anything shooting me, and always in range to shoot back. way less squishy than standard corsairs. same as uruks in a bow spam list, but these actually do better in a shootout (cause of D6). the other corsairs sweep round the flanks to get traps/throwing daggers once the lines meet. keeps all your numbers in the fight and doesnt cost you much utility if the other side has something to shut down your shooting cause they still cover your advance and fight in combat.
Yeah if the terrain allows you to wrap around your opponent, the list really starts to shine!
@@GollumGamers works great in chokes as well. got delgamar+banners for full re-rolls on both shields and supports, and the corsairs with spear can throw daggers past combats into enemy supports. in a straight up shield wall fight you can end up with 4 dice to 1or2 to win. actually grinds quite well even without the trap bonus. if i get the chance to set up defensive positions in between terrain i take it
It's the reroll 1 on the bomb that makes it assault good, not the ballista 🙂↕️
Yeah the bomb is so difficult to play around!
