Tujhse mila hai toh inaam hai mera" would mean- "No matter if what you have given me is pain. Since i got it from you, it is my prize/reward(meaning to say precious)" The Hindi word "sahi" is used in both ways - one meaning right/correct, and another usage is to show consent/approval (like you would use "okay"). so here, my interpretation says that he is saying - "its okay if what i received from you is pain".

The film version is a better one. It is based on complex relationships, friendships dealing with heartbreak, loss & pain, the turmoils anyone can go through while in deep love. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is wonderfully sung by Arijit definitely very lovely in Hindi lyrically. It is one of his best emotional touching songs you never tire of listening and play on loop from Arijit's song playlist. Yes you are right the movie was shot in Europe-London, Paris, Vienna, others in Austria alongwith Indian locations. The very talented actors are Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, guests appearances by Aishwarya Rai and Fawad Khan. You have reacted to songs Bulleya by Amit Mishra & Pritam, Channa Mereya etc. from the movie.
I prefer the film version of this song - it’s adapted to the fit the narrative of the story but the composition builds to a crescendo which is far better than the standard OST version (and the version you reacted to).
And I think you guys should focus more on the musical and singing part of the song rather than pausing in between the beautiful lines and discuss theories about the video !
also yes guys this songs sounds sooo pretty in Hindi. I am sure people must have told you before, but even the sentences that get translated in the most "basic" english counterpart usually sound so much prettier in the original language. That is because the lyrics tend to go out of their way to use words that ARE pretty and sophisticated in a way that you wouldn't use while speaking. Therefore the songs end up sounding like beautiful love poems.

That's what is going on.
You two were probably amazing in your english/philosophical classes where you analyze everything. It's impressive. Also the story is that the singer is in love with the girl he pushes away in the beginning, but they're best friends and the girl just sees him as a friend. She has a fiance who she marries, so the singer then enters into a relationship with the other woman (the drop dead gorgeous woman, who you've reacted to before as well lol Devdas) but he's not actually in love with this second woman and basically uses her.

The more I watch them the more I like this duo of siblings. In fact, I think I like Efra more (sorry Weleska, u r absolutely beautiful), he is such a genuine, kind, happy and nice person. I found it very funny that just after accurate dissecting the possibilities about the broken man part and deserving it which is really beneath the surface level of analysing he then goes on to say his just dumb... I think its very smart just sometimes things can get over analysed when its not in your first langauge or you lack context to story and culture etc... love how u get a feel of the song but also checked the lyrics to confirm suspecions... Why don't you check the original one. This version was made before the release of the movie because you can't disclose much before movie. You should have checked movie version. It's my advice that if you are going to react on Bollywood song, always look for movie version.

I found it very funny that just after accurate dissecting the possibilities about the broken man part and deserving it which is really beneath the surface level of analysing he then goes on to say his just dumb... I think its very smart just sometimes things can get over analysed when its not in your first langauge or you lack context to story and culture etc... love how u get a feel of the song but also checked the lyrics to confirm suspecions... Why don't you check the original one. This version was made before the release of the movie because you can't disclose much before movie. You should have checked movie version. It's my advice that if you are going to react on Bollywood song, always look for movie version.
