Wood Art - Woodturning a Walnut and Black Limba Bowl

In this video, I turn a large bowl made from Walnut, interspersed with Black Limba (which is, ironically, the light-colored wood in this project). Resawing the Black Limba gave me a chance to use my new Shop Fox Drum Sander which is very cool.
Turning this project was a bit more complicated than I expected it to be because the different grains and densities of the two woods made for some interesting physical issue. Overall, though, it wasn’t too difficult and I’m very pleased with the way it turned out.
