American Family's FIRST time 4x4 BEACH Driving! Bribie Island, Australia

Our friends took us to Bribie Island to go 4X4ing and we loved it. It was such a beautiful day. Driving on the sand was a new experience and was quite an adventure. We loved our first destination because it had so much entertainment: fishing, kayaking, jumping off the sand cliffs, playing in the waves, and more. We had fun doing jumps and flips off the sand dunes. Mom took the kayak out with the littles and had fun exploring. The older boys had a blast getting pummeled by the huge waves.

You've discovered another fantastic place on our east coast there's an abundance of such places up and down the whole of Australia and don't let the colour of the lagoon water put you off its a result of vegetable dyes from the surrounding vegetation .perfectly safe to swim in and in many cases pure enough to drink .you will have to try and visit Fraser Island which is similar to Bribie but more beautiful . In fact the worlds largest sand Island and home to wild Dingoes as well as Goannas ,sea and land birds and Turtles ,there are huge sanddunes ,fresh water lakes crystal clear creeks and tropical forests and multicoloured sand cliffs along the beach front . I applaud you for taking the time to see parfs of the north that are other than high profile tourist attractions , and the best part is you've only scratched the surface 😊

I was freaked out too just watching you kayaking alone in what seemed like a crocodile infested lagoon! And Australia’s salt water crocodiles are some of the biggest in the world.
