At 2:13, if you listen closely you can hear 'thuds' in the background, like metal bodies falling against the floor as they release their spirits and shut down. There's also loud knocking and faint fire alarms in the distance. Springtrap is probably the one knocking against the walls (or doors), as he has no escape from his grim ending. As Henry said, there are no exits. He doesn't want to leave his metal body, as he wants to continue on with his murderous career, but he's slowly dying until eventually the knocking dies down, meaning that he meets his fate and is sent to hell. Yeah, I'm a little over-analytical with things like this, haha.

Henry's speech was the most calm but hate-fueled thing i've ever heard in my entire life. That and Practically every Lyric in Sabaton's In the Name of God because my goodness, Joakim Broden really despises terrorists. and there is no Calm in his voice.

Whenever I hear this song, I start to cry. Fnaf was the first horror game I EVER played. It opened a world of gaming that I had never seen before. It introduced me to youtubers, like Markipier and Jacksepticeye. It showed me what horror games should be. Not just a game that fills you with fantastic terrors, like outlast, but that it should interest you into the lore of it all. Sure, everyone likes a good jumpscare, but the mystery of it all is what really kept this series going. This showed me to dive underneath the surfaces of games and find the fundamental stories they are based on or trying to tell. It taught me that games, aren't just meant to be played, but understood. I enjoyed playing every game in the series, digging up lore as I found it. But at the end of the day, I will never be the same again. I look at gaming community different, now. My life has changed, because of one game, and to see the final pieces falling into place, brings me to tears. Saddened that all of this has to end but proud of what we discovered through this game, we can finally put this game to rest. To the man behind it all, Scott Cawthon, thank you for changing the life of mine and the lives of others. And to the Fnaf community that was created out of these games, thank you for supporting Scott and encouraging him to make these games. You helped change lives, as well. Au contraire, Strider. The game actually reveals a whole new load of lore. It could possibly even be considered canon, since this is basically Afton's _litteral hell._
It's basically Afton's Hell, but in video game form. The customizable characters are the "game" part. Same thing with the interchangeable offices, the high scores, the presets, etc. Everything else may be canon. Most of the characters even mention a child that "should not have been killed" by Afton. Some mention Afton never being able to perish in the office when someone "kills" him. It's never ending pain for him.
We know, that THIS is where the real story ends. They were all freed. William was finally killed. It was the final chapter for all of them. The souls were released from their metal cages. There was no more.
Cassette man is a badass. For the first time in the series you won against the animatronics for real (albeit with the help of cassette man) think about it. fnaf 1 solved nothing. fnaf 2 solved nothing. fnaf 3 was close, but springtrap survived. fnaf 4 solved nothing. sister location got yourself scooped and you let ennard escape, solving nothing and making the situation worse. but for the first time you won in fnaf 6 SHIET edit: this didn't age well huh? i'm sort of dumbfounded at what happened to this franchise. this ending makes it quite obvious everything ended here, so why is afton still alive and why are there now 2 more games? i never really took scott for a guy who'd milk a series this much. and before you go saying "well he made fnaf4 and sister location", in fnaf3 it was definitely already a plot point that springtrap survived since he's there in one of brightened newspaper clippings, meaning the series was always supposed to continue. but this was such a definitive and brilliant ending, so it pains me to know it's been ruined. to anyone actually reading this years after this comment was made, there's one thing i can guarantee: in our hearts, this series ends here, for all of us. I love how the story goes deeper when you realize that in FNaF6 when William (as Springtrap) gets Michael he says to Michael "I ALWAYS COME BACK" i feel William was mocking Michael for failing to kill him successfully in FNaF3 at Fazbear Fright. Michael ultimately goes down in flames trying to keep William contained long enough to finally die for good.

This song really portrays the weight of what is going on. Without context, this is not a good ending. Almost all the characters die, but with context, it's the good ending, and this song really shows that. "Everything could have been better, no one had to have been hurt, you all could have normal, happy lives, if William didn't kill anyone. But he did, and in doing so started this whole mess, so this is the best ending you are going to get. It could have been better, but it's not, so this is what happens instead. 2:17 i like to think that here you can hear animatronic bodies falling down to the floor and then just William banging the metallic trap door and each hit of William becomes weaker and weaker until his systems fail and then fire alarms turns on

This will always be the end of fnaf for me. Sure there's security breach, glitchtrap and afton surviving this for some reason but for me this is where everything ends. In one final attempt to put an end to all of the horrors Henry was able to gather them all in one place and burn it to the ground. That speech is far to bad ass for it to mean absolutely nothing. I will still play and enjoy the other fnaf games but in my personal opinion this is where is should have ended for good. Just as Henry intended it. In a way it did too this and UCN which were the last games scott made and we will never have the same kind of fnaf game we got from scott again. I will always cherish those moments of terror and mystery that scott gave us and this game and specifically this moment with this song playing perfectly captures the feeling of ending. After several endings that didn't quite feel complete this ending accompanied with this song perfectly puts an end to this entire franchise. I love this part at 1:36 . It makes me think of the good of the animatronics,the souls of the children. It really makes you realize that they're just kids,kinda like how at the end of the original trilogy of Star Wars,you realize that Darth Vader was just a sad old man that went down the wrong path all along. The robots are just innocent kids stripped of all their happiness and their life,and now they wander the pizzerias only for one reason. Revenge. It's sad.

I think The Living Tombstone might've predicted fnaf 6. In the song die in a fire it's talking about Williams last moments before he became Springtrap. And in the end he literally did die in a fire.
This song represents the "end", of a story with a happy beginning, and it was crumbling, becoming agony, pain, despair and deaths. Yeah, unfortunately that's the truth, but everyone involved, even the man behind the slaughter, died; to the memories of all this, they were erased for all eternity, "they" don't care if they will be forgotten, they just want ... the end of this "curse", which started more than 30 years ago. And this is the definitive end of this story, no matter how many FNAF sequels it has, the sixth game in the franchise, is the outcome of the entire tragedy. "...End of communication.."
This is the best FNaF ending out of all games from that franchise. It's actually kinda hard to get, it isn't just a pink paper with text "YOU ARE FIRED" on it, it has good music and storytelling, and at the end it just cuts to black, like nothing happened. Perfect.

This was such an emotional scene for me. I'm upset that William keeps coming back. It ruins everything that Michael did. Michael kills William (at least lures him), and killing William means ending any chance of more murders which means, as Cassette Guy said, the memory can of this place can finally disappear. Freeing the trapped souls was a huge part of this, but it was always about killing William. But Scott does know what he's doing surprisingly, so I have faith that whatever happens will be good. Anyway, 1:36 Demolition Inevitable leitmotif. At least I think so.

Well, yeah, you're not wrong. It wasn't for nothing. It ended Elizabeth's story. She could rest finally. But now with William coming back, that was in vain. The animatronics lived to see William die (not the Sister location Gang though). Michael lived to see William die. William's death was the end. That's why the series always "ends" when William dies. Because he's the only thing keeping these animatronics alive.
Michael never killed William. Henry did. And it's not confirmed that Michael wants William dead. Also, the souls can pass away with William alive. They literally pass on after Fazbear's Fright burns down.
To be fair, in the books william managed to fully take off the suit from his corpse and was able to survive, as well as make special kinda of animatronics, so it wouldn't be COMPLETELY out of the picture to upload a copy of his consciousness onto a memory drive or something, but I agree that the series should've ended here.

Is it just me that thinks that it sounds unsettling like it would suit someone who knew that he was going to die and that he could never avoid it? And then to me it sounds like the kind of music that would suit someone who just witnessed his own friends get murdered. Then the kind of music that would suit someone finally finding peace. Those are all stuff that Michel Afton went through, first, he accidentally killed his own brother, then, in sister location when he knew that there was no escaping the scooper, and finally, he, along with all the other souls, were put to rest.
If I'm not mistaken, the fires of the trap pizzaria was the perfect way to kill the living corpse that Michael was, since fire is literally confirmed to be the best way to purge remnant, or spirits if you would like to put it that way.

At 2:13, if you listen closely you can hear 'thuds' in the background, like metal bodies falling against the floor as they release their spirits and shut down. There's also loud knocking and faint fire alarms in the distance.
Springtrap is probably the one knocking against the walls (or doors), as he has no escape from his grim ending. As Henry said, there are no exits. He doesn't want to leave his metal body, as he wants to continue on with his murderous career, but he's slowly dying until eventually the knocking dies down, meaning that he meets his fate and is sent to hell.
Yeah, I'm a little over-analytical with things like this, haha.

Whenever I hear this song, I start to cry. Fnaf was the first horror game I EVER played. It opened a world of gaming that I had never seen before. It introduced me to youtubers, like Markipier and Jacksepticeye. It showed me what horror games should be. Not just a game that fills you with fantastic terrors, like outlast, but that it should interest you into the lore of it all. Sure, everyone likes a good jumpscare, but the mystery of it all is what really kept this series going. This showed me to dive underneath the surfaces of games and find the fundamental stories they are based on or trying to tell. It taught me that games, aren't just meant to be played, but understood. I enjoyed playing every game in the series, digging up lore as I found it. But at the end of the day, I will never be the same again. I look at gaming community different, now. My life has changed, because of one game, and to see the final pieces falling into place, brings me to tears. Saddened that all of this has to end but proud of what we discovered through this game, we can finally put this game to rest. To the man behind it all, Scott Cawthon, thank you for changing the life of mine and the lives of others. And to the Fnaf community that was created out of these games, thank you for supporting Scott and encouraging him to make these games. You helped change lives, as well. With this, I can finally bid these games adieu.

It's basically Afton's Hell, but in video game form. The customizable characters are the "game" part. Same thing with the interchangeable offices, the high scores, the presets, etc. Everything else may be canon. Most of the characters even mention a child that "should not have been killed" by Afton. Some mention Afton never being able to perish in the office when someone "kills" him. It's never ending pain for him.

edit: this didn't age well huh? i'm sort of dumbfounded at what happened to this franchise. this ending makes it quite obvious everything ended here, so why is afton still alive and why are there now 2 more games? i never really took scott for a guy who'd milk a series this much. and before you go saying "well he made fnaf4 and sister location", in fnaf3 it was definitely already a plot point that springtrap survived since he's there in one of brightened newspaper clippings, meaning the series was always supposed to continue. but this was such a definitive and brilliant ending, so it pains me to know it's been ruined.

I love how the story goes deeper when you realize that in FNaF6 when William (as Springtrap) gets Michael he says to Michael "I ALWAYS COME BACK" i feel William was mocking Michael for failing to kill him successfully in FNaF3 at Fazbear Fright. Michael ultimately goes down in flames trying to keep William contained long enough to finally die for good.

This will always be the end of fnaf for me. Sure there's security breach, glitchtrap and afton surviving this for some reason but for me this is where everything ends. In one final attempt to put an end to all of the horrors Henry was able to gather them all in one place and burn it to the ground. That speech is far to bad ass for it to mean absolutely nothing. I will still play and enjoy the other fnaf games but in my personal opinion this is where is should have ended for good. Just as Henry intended it. In a way it did too this and UCN which were the last games scott made and we will never have the same kind of fnaf game we got from scott again. I will always cherish those moments of terror and mystery that scott gave us and this game and specifically this moment with this song playing perfectly captures the feeling of ending. After several endings that didn't quite feel complete this ending accompanied with this song perfectly puts an end to this entire franchise. As much as I will miss this game I'm glad that scotts last entrances to the franchise were these ones. (fnaf 6 and UCN)

I love this part at 1:36 . It makes me think of the good of the animatronics,the souls of the children. It really makes you realize that they're just kids,kinda like how at the end of the original trilogy of Star Wars,you realize that Darth Vader was just a sad old man that went down the wrong path all along. The robots are just innocent kids stripped of all their happiness and their life,and now they wander the pizzerias only for one reason. Revenge. It's sad.

I think The Living Tombstone might've predicted fnaf 6. In the song die in a fire it's talking about Williams last moments before he became Springtrap. And in the end he literally did die in a fire.

This song represents the "end", of a story with a happy beginning, and it was crumbling, becoming agony, pain, despair and deaths. Yeah, unfortunately that's the truth, but everyone involved, even the man behind the slaughter, died; to the memories of all this, they were erased for all eternity, "they" don't care if they will be forgotten, they just want ... the end of this "curse", which started more than 30 years ago. And this is the definitive end of this story, no matter how many FNAF sequels it has, the sixth game in the franchise, is the outcome of the entire tragedy.

This is the best FNaF ending out of all games from that franchise. It's actually kinda hard to get, it isn't just a pink paper with text "YOU ARE FIRED" on it, it has good music and storytelling, and at the end it just cuts to black, like nothing happened.

This song lights a fiery blaze within my heart, it's as if I can feel the agony the spirits suffered for so long. Hatred, sadness, an unending emptiness.
That's how powerful this song is.
Henry completed the original legacy of games with the perfect ending and perfect theme song.
He was the true hero of the original games, honestly.
I cried hard when i see this ending...all the suffering misundestanding all of them make me cried so hard... Because those little gathered in one place...it means they are free....The best FNAF game in the history.

for me, this is the theme song of the entire FNAF series, like, FNAF THEME SONG.
This was such an emotional scene for me. I'm upset that William keeps coming back. It ruins everything that Michael did. Michael kills William (at least lures him), and killing William means ending any chance of more murders which means, as Cassette Guy said, the memory can of this place can finally disappear. Freeing the trapped souls was a huge part of this, but it was always about killing William. But Scott does know what he's doing surprisingly, so I have faith that whatever happens will be good.

Well, yeah, you're not wrong. It wasn't for nothing. It ended Elizabeth's story. She could rest finally.
But now with William coming back, that was in vain. The animatronics lived to see William die (not the Sister location Gang though). Michael lived to see William die. William's death was the end. That's why the series always "ends" when William dies. Because he's the only thing keeping these animatronics alive.

Michael never killed William. Henry did. And it's not confirmed that Michael wants William dead.
Also, the souls can pass away with William alive. They literally pass on after Fazbear's Fright burns down.
To be fair, in the books william managed to fully take off the suit from his corpse and was able to survive, as well as make special kinda of animatronics, so it wouldn't be COMPLETELY out of the picture to upload a copy of his consciousness onto a memory drive or something, but I agree that the series should've ended here.

Is it just me that thinks that it sounds unsettling like it would suit someone who knew that he was going to die and that he could never avoid it? And then to me it sounds like the kind of music that would suit someone who just witnessed his own friends get murdered. Then the kind of music that would suit someone finally finding peace. Those are all stuff that Michel Afton went through, first, he accidentally killed his own brother, then, in sister location when he knew that there was no escaping the scooper, and finally, he, along with all the other souls, were put to rest.
I never thought of it that way.

If I'm not mistaken, the fires of the trap pizzaria was the perfect way to kill the living corpse that Michael was, since fire is literally confirmed to be the best way to purge remnant, or spirits if you would like to put it that way.
