@@maxinelachance7658 Dancing to and following a rhythm is probably one of the hardest things there is in sports. Dancing is an art, and it takes A LOT of time and effort in order to get good. My advice would be to focus on learning the steps and body movements first. When the steps and body movements becomes easy or easier, it in turn allows you to focus almost exclussively on following a rhythm, which will make it easier for you to follow the rhythm.

Wow. I am uncoordinated and this video was super helpful. Excellent job explaining the basic steps! Loved the tips to make dancing more graceful and efficient - I am used to exercising versus dancing so I was doing everything "wrong" in the video. The pace was great. I love that I can stop the video as many times as needed and even slow down the playback speed. This video gives me the confidence to attend a class or just dance with friends at a party.

I have to learn so bad. Met the most beautiful Dominic/Puerto Rican in the summer of 2019 at work. Have been in love with her since and she actually called me a month ago to tell me she's been in love with me from the same time. Bachata is so sexy and I have to dance with her.

Definitely one of the best basic bachata step tutorials. The first things to know are all here: Basic side to side, front to back, side to side spins and the crossover steps. You can easily start doing these with a partner.

Very awesome and very helpful. Easy to follow and learn. I have less than 2 months left to get this down right. I will be going to Dominican Republic with my boyfriend to visit with family and I have already been warned that there will be a lot of Bachata dancing for sure. Even though I have the basic steps down, I needed a video like this where you actually mend them and learn how to change from one to the next. I've listened to a lot of bachata and kinda done my own thing, im finally taking lessons, well i took salsa basics, and am perusing videos and this is the forst video for beginners that actually treats like beginners. first off good to face forward for copying footwork. idk how other classes dont get you have to face forward as teachers. amd secondly doing the actual 8 count. and slower rhythm to start. i feel like i might actually learn this properly. thank you!
