You can have Colonies to a lot FOR you. Mine, farm, tree farm, enchant, etc. I rush to 3rd level of the warehouse, so I can hook up RS or AE2, then use the warehouse as my storage system. Makes it way easier, when upgrading the Colony.
There's a dedicated slot for the craft in a stick. This way you don't have to keep him on your item bar, saving some space. Then you just have to hit one button to open it. :)
While Analyzing the boss fight you did 40:00 minutes in (ish) I've come to the conclusion the blue fire provides levitation. In order to kill him you need to do melee once he's below half health. And you need to constantly keep an eye on your six so the golems don't bombard you.
It was fun watching you go blindly to a boss fight. Remember to make Ore sights like DiamondSight in case you need a large amount of a certain ore. most ores have ore sights, you will need blaze powder but its worth it.

This has been a fun series so far! I'm not recording, but playing my own world in this pack. You play very differently from anything I'm used to so far, it's been a ride seeing how you go about things! Don't worry about the brain not brainalating, it's adorable! I've been spending a lot of time making monster charms that make me invisible to specific monster AI for instance. I'm at the point where I can be out and about in a blood moon as long as I don't go to new biomes. 😅
Well I'm happy that you enjoy me being a dork because there's plenty of it in almost every episode. lol I normally do things randomly which is why I try and have a game plan for myself each time I record but I always steer off the plan somehow...it's more fun that way though. xD Monster charms you say? What are they called..I'll add them to the notepad to look them up next time I record.
(insert name of monster here) Charm. The charms are from Reliquary. I keep them on a charm belt in the belt slot. The charms are made from charm fragments. Some of the fragments can be outright made, others are drops from the creatures in question. I've had to resort to making monster spawners to get enough of some of the fragments. The Ender IO Powered Spawners let me catch one critter and spawn a bunch of them, and then when I get a spawn egg with a sword that has Capturing on it I transfer that into a silk touched Apotheosis spawner with redstone control so I don't have to spend RF/FE on it.@@Creothina
@@Creothina Oh, and if you break a spawner without silk touch you get an Ender IO spawner for use in making Powered Spawners and if you break a spawner with silk tough you get the Apotheosis variant FYI.

I had to make a second comment for suggestions, because I have a lot of info to share. ( I apologize ahead of time for the novel written below) Moving items out of Backpacks: You can make the Deposit upgrade for Sophisticated Backpacks. With this upgrade, holding your backpack, you can crouch click a storage (Even digital like RS importers) and it will move all the items from your backpack to the storage you crouch click on. You can do the Advanced Deposit Upgrade, to filter items, or set conditions, like Match Backpack Contents. Wireless Early Game Storage: Ars Noveau Bookwyrms. No one uses these, But its SOOO OP. No power required. No Source Required. And you get UNLIMITED RANGE Digital Storage. There's a lot of steps involved, but once you set it up, its amazing, and much much much cheaper than RS and AE2 early game. Get to the point in Ars where you have the Dominion Wand, its required to bind the Lectern to storages. Make the Bookwyrm Charm by doing a Ritual of Awakening, but augment the Ritual with a Book and Quill. This is very simple, just make a Ritual Brazier, cheap, and a ritual of awakening, cheap, and click the Brazier with the Ritual, and toss the book on before right clicking the ritual to activate. Make like 2-3, for faster processing. Now, make a Bookwyrm Lectern (Cheap). When you right click the lectern with the Bookwyrms, they will spawn. Now, you can use the Dominion Wand to Right click the Bookwyrm Lectern, then Crouch right click a storage to bind it. Now the Lectern will access all that storage. It can bind to Functional Storage Controllers, AND the Sophisticated Storage Controller. Id suggest doing Both. Okay, next step (Sorry this is long), Make a Scry Crystal, and an Enchanters Eye. In your spell book make a spell that is "Touch -> Interact" that's it. Now take the Scry Crystal to the Scribes table, put it on the table, and with your spell book in hand, click the Scrys crystal with that spell to enchant the Scrys Crystal with that interact spell. Now, go to your lectern, and place the scry crystal, so the eye is facing the lectern. Its tricky, but I'm sure you can figure it out. Now you can crouch right click the Enchanters Eye on the Scrys crystal to bind them together. DONE! Now when you use the Enchanters eye while its in your inventory, it will open the Crafting/storage menu from the Lectern. INSTANT WIRELESS DIGITAL (MAGICAL) STORAGE WITH INFINITE RANGE. And there's NO power cost, and NO source cost. Digital Storage: This is a contentions issue, but I recommend just going to AE right off the RIP. AE2 got a HUGE overhaul this update (1.20) and it now has a guide (hover over AE2 items in JEI to see which button to hold to see the guide). Plus theres a new item called the Vibration Chamber which will power the AE2 system early game. You dont need to make disks early on, just route a Storage Bus to either your Functional Storage Controller or Sophisticated Storage Controller, or both, and you have all the storage you want. For Certus, you can mix in Ars and use the Amethyst Golems to harvest Certus from Budding Certus Blocks. (Does require a bit of source but its cheap and effective). Going from RS to AE is a pain. You re-routing cables, with channels in mind, and setting everything up a second time, then actually moving the items from RS disks to AE storage, is a pain. Another point, for Silicon, the Material Stonework Factory from Industrial Foregoing will make Silicon from scratch, Only have to input water and Lava 1 time, and it will forever make Silicon. Put a Speed 2 upgrade in, and BOOM, fast silicon. AE2 also has bigger disks and machines with a few addon Mods. Mega Cells, goes to 256 MILLION, AE Additions, AE2 Things, Ars Energistique (digital Source Storage and transport), and a new addon that im obsessed over, ExtendedAE which is STUIPD OP for an addon to AE2. Extended AE takes the only downside to AE2 (Slow autocrafting) and fixes it, with MASSIVE pattern providers that are 8x quicker by default. with 4x Acceleration upgrades, its very very fast. Keep in mind RS ALSO has MUCH bigger storage than its default Cells. RS Adons, CableTiers, ExtraStorage (which has an INFINITE storage cell, but also others like a 1 billion disk), RebornStorage, which gives you a giant multiblock Autocrafter for RS. Sorry for the Book, but the Ars Storage System is so cool, and I dont see people use it, and its Incredibly OP, if done correctly, and its not hard to get it right. No Power, No Source cost, Infinite Range, Instant storage access. Only downside its not Cross Dimensional, but thats the same for RS and AE Early game. But Regardless of whether you go AE or RS, ill keep posting helpful info. And if this is all stuff you know, Sorry for wasting your time hahahahahah.
Oh and for the Ars Bookwyrm storage, the Lecturn does NOT have to be touching the storage. Thats what the Bookwyrm mobs are for. The controllers just have to be within a 30 block range of the Lecturn, and the Bookwyrms will move the items from the Lecturn to the Controllers.

Fruit juice allows for full saturation at any time even if your are full. Feral flare lanterns are expensive but work under water and lighting up huge areas. Lantern of paranoia will auto place lanterns in your inventory. Mine colones if a endless source of food, enchants, and materials. I just cleaned out my ware house and got 3k iron ingots. If you build on a ocean you will get enchanted books but Pirates... Tell your forester to plant the trees your want. I have them growing avocado trees. My restaurant makes avocado toast. Raids will provide Ancient tombs. Your enchanter will randomly make enchanted books.
im lovin this series so far, i just started playing the modpack myself. ( also if you didnt know you can wear the crafting table on a stick to save a little inv space, and ive found SO many bunny slippers in those weird towers with the green beacons shooting into the sky haha)

i just started doing an all the mods playthru and i absolutely love minecolonies. my biggest gripe with minecraft is that is just a dead world, and nothing really happens without you doing it. mine colonies really helps your base area seem alive and dynamic. they do produce stuff, but im not far enough into it to make it worth more than some stacks of fish for trading
I don't agree with the dead world part since there's SO many things added in modded however that's how I feel with Vanilla. Minecolonies will for sure add some life to the world even in modded though so I'm excited to give it a go.
Avocado Toast comes out on top again! 🤣 Most OP food for a fact, due to what it gives, and the simplicity of it. Edit: Also, Blue Skies, and other realms in the pack, the gear from that realm is superior to anything you can get in the overworld. For all realms have a gear set for that realm specifically ready, and use that only. Especially Blue Skies. Blue Skies, Netherite armor is like leather armor. Its useless. Same with the weapons and tools. Also, its very bold to be going for Blue Skies this early in the pack. You should really get yourself situated in the overworld before you go to Blue Skies. It will help immensely. Trust me. Also to remove the Gems, Vial of Arcane Extraction from apotheosis will remove all gems from the item, but the item will be destroyed, so just be prepared for that.
Yep....I have this thing where since I have over 3000 hours in modded I tend to run into things blindly not remembering that every pack is different and I'm probably doing a dumb. I learnt pretty quick but that's how it is sometimes and I will be spending more time gearing myself (which I've done a bit of between episodes) so that we can go back and get my revenge. xD
Those spawners in the caves have different mob levels denoted by the block on top. There was a cracked stone brick one you missed that kept spawning those spiders around you. They can be a bit more difficult to see. Those pink enchanted scrolls in the loot chests... some have (ore)sight, e.g. DiamondSight, IronSight etc. They basically highlight the applicable ore in the rocks around you for 10 minutes... best to use the scroll when you're at the applicable Y level. Later, Divination Rods are awesome for ore/netherite hunting. One Netherite Divination Rod helped me net 456 deepslate diamond ore blocks during one anal retentive mining trip lol. In the backpacks, you can go to the backpack settings tab and set slot memory settings. I have the top row of my backpack set to items I carry all the time so that when I sort the backpack contents, those items stay in the top row and no other items can occupy those slots. A nice QOL feature. I found 2 Netherite smithing templates in an underground bastion in the overworld. I bought a map to one via the wandering trader. Nice to know you don't have to go bother the warden to find them 🤔🤔 Nice to see 2 episodes of this pack in a week. Yay! Oh, and there is soooooooo much loot in this pack... Bundles are a great way to keep your backpack tidy. I carry a bundle full of bundles and use them to keep all the gems together, the pink and blue enchanted scrolls together, odd ingots togeher, etc, etc. The ability to put backpacks inside backpacks needs a netherstar, so bundles are a good consolation.
Oooo I'll have to tinker with those scrolls because I knew they were useful I just wasn't sure and didn't want to go clicking things if I didn't know what they did because that NEVER ends well. lol Thank you for all the info! I knew about some of that stuff but I'll be sure to keep an eye out for the underground structures in the overworld even though I plan on exploring the nether in the next episode. :D Yess lots of ATM is going to be happening because I'm having way too much fun with this pack and it seems everyone is enjoying the videos so it'll be a strong presence on the channel for a LONG time. I mentioned I want to do well over 100 episodes and I meant it...the pack has so many things to do/create/explore that I can see it easily hitting that as long as nothing breaks. xD
RFtools has a storage scanner for early game. It scans every container within a 20 block radius. It can function as cheaper version of RS or AE2 and has limited crafting capabilities that comes in handy when upgrading to the other two storage systems.
really shouldn't put full shulkers in the AE system, i know it works but the NBT data held is insane and can cause some major lag/instability. similar to having LOTS of the apotheosis armor/weapons in the AE system, admittedly in 90% of cases it'll be perfectly fine but sometimes its not and cleaning that mess is a pain (has corrupted worlds for me in the past)
Refined storage has an addon call extra disks with larger disks. Minecolonies can produce most vanilla resources, just not at comparable rates to most mods or even some vanilla farms, especially considering capital (resources) and time investment.
I found my bunny slippers underground, sometimes you'll find these little camps with a mimic enemy and they have a shot of dropping any of the artifacts from the mod the bunny slippers comes from. Also greg tech coal ore is worth grabbing, you get two coal for each one its so awesome!
Yesss I'm learning that GregTech isn't all that bad especially with the pretty gems it creates. Thank you for the extra bunny slipper tips I'll be sure to keep an eye out for them. :D
Mega torches will not stop Caged spawners, Unless it is with in 7 blocks of the spawner like a regular torch and light level. Best way for XP is a Create Grinding wheels for double your ores and get free XP. You can use a Omnidirectional hopper and speed upgrades to Empty your bag fast in to your storage controller.
Be careful when nesting storage mediums. Ex. Putting a shulker box inside of Backpack. Large quantities of items in nested storages can lead to data corruption. Integers can only be so long in the code. If the quantity over runs that limit it can be bad. It all depends oh how well the code is written. Best practice is to not nest storage mediums. Especially things like Danks and Sophisticated backpacks with stack upgrades. Also from a data integrity and lag standpoint its better to use multiple smaller disks in refined storage, rather than single large disks. With extra disks there is and infinite disk available. While this sounds good its not. Every time you insert or extract items that disks contents has to be updated physically on your drive. The larger the disk with more items the longer the time it takes to make the write on your drive. Even with NVME drives the lag can be noticeable. Best bet is to use smaller disks. With smaller disks the amount of data needed to be rewritten is limited to only what is on the disks you changed. Less writing on your drive means less lag. Its part of the reason RS disks only go up to 64k. There's also more of a chance for data corruption when using the very large disks found in Extra Disks. In a way it acts like a real computer. If the game get interrupted while RS is updating the disk contents it can corrupt that disk. This is why I think having your eggs in multiple baskets is the best bet.
Whenever I use Applied Energistics I always use the 256k drives and never have an issue so the highest I'd go with the extra disks mod is the same size since it's easier to make early game. I've never had issues with large systems having shulkers holding stuff either but it's a good tip to know for people who may overdo it or have that problem happen. :D

You are fun to watch & sleep. Earned a sub. I think you don't need pickup upgrade when you have magnet upgrade in backpacks. Because magnet triggers before you pickup Items most of times. Also it's better to use pickup/magnet upgrade in one separate backpack. That's how it only fills with resources mined(call it mining backpack, only needed when you go mining and easy to dump later into ore processing setup). Use your main/another backpack for loot
Minecraft 1.20 makes a netherite upgrade tenplate necessary for all netherite upgrades. Make sure you copy it with netherrack and diamonds before you use it since its one use only.
Hey! To try to answer your question about MineColonies. I built 2 colonies so far and at the beginning it's definitely you who have to support the town with supplies and baby sitting the colonists etc, however, as you progress I think more and more they can provide resources for you as they produce more than what they need (the rates are probably slow though compared to custom built farms). For example, IIRC, the nether miner can get ghast tears, ancient debris and other goodies from the nether for you so you don't have to go there.
The master torches work with a radius around them. Like 64 blocks around them, doesn't matter if its to the left, right, front, back, up or down. So if u go out the radius u get that mobs will spawn, i don't know if they affect spawners.
Ok that's good...I've adjusted the block distance in the config file so I guess it works for vanilla spawners and not modded. Thank you for the info! :D
U could us Refinned Storage or Applied Energistics 2. U can hook up the Functional storage and also the Sophisticated storage with the controllers. RS uses the extrenal storage and AE2 uses the ME storage bus. AE2 only works with channels while RS dont use channels, but AE2 is better with NTB data. And with the addons they added, u can use it like RS network with just 1 block and not trough the quantum ring (still can use it). Look at the disks for example, they even added the disk like RS for AE2. But for like the ore hammer, AE2 will use the same hammer while RS wants to make a new hammer ever craft or item. So think about NTB tags if u gonna use like Gregtech.
U can let minecolonies do every thing for u as long as u learned them the recipes. Like u don't need to make the hamburgers or harvest items for the hamburgers. The colonie can do that for u while u do other stuff. Even with ores or what ever u want.
Tip for back pack: make a deposit upgrade and shirt right click on an inventory or controller and it empty's it to that inventory or controller (drawers or sophisticated storage). I always have 2 backpacks. 1 just for mining and the other for my own tools like wrenches and wapons and armor. Magnet upgrade is the same as the pick up upgrade, so u don't need them both, only the magnet pulls it to u while the pick up u have to be close to pick it up.
Yeah I still don't understand how people can sleep to me being a loud mouth but like you said...people can sleep to metal music so it makes some kind of sense. lol
I'm not a big fan of Create (I like beep boop machines instead) but I WILL be putting some sort of machine in the mining dimension when I get there. lol
with refined storage ... extra disks mod adds all the larger size disks ... I prefer to use the smaller drives ... less risk of corrpution and crashing of the world ... but you can actually go all the way up to an infinite disk with refined storage.

id say it works really well with switching from series to series, I prefer this one, but I also think some people prefer the other one, and it also just do that we don't get tired of the series as fast, cause sure id like to watch way more of this one, but I also just know that let say if u did this for a 100 eps straight, id get kinda tired of it, and I think other people might think the same

Go into your waystones config folder and look for "inventory warp button" then put "ANY" and it should be there next time you load your world. (I explain it in the previous episode and if you use notepad++ it's like 88/89 I believe)
Were you pronouncing allthemodium wrong? Or were you simply pronouncing it in a way that made sense to you? Personally I pronounce words in a way that makes sense to me until I’m proven incorrect, so you’re good imo. Edit… what video did you build the new base? I’m bouncing around between mods that interest me but I want to see the build process. Edit 2… going back to watch from episode 2. New area looks dope and I’d like to see discovering it. I will return tho! In approximately 6 video hrs.
If you mean the thing so you can teleport to waystones from your inventory... or I missunderstood ... you go in \All the Mods 9 - ATM9\minecraft\config and you find there a file called waystones-common.toml (I use prism launcher but I think its in the same place) open it with notepad+ (I used visual studio code) and there you go. Important things you need to search is [cooldowns] starts from line 67 (the last in here is the inventory thing what is on 300 sec) and the other one below it [inventorybutton] and in the 89 line you need to set up as inventoryButton = "ANY" and now in game your inventory there will be a scroll icon next to your character leg. Now you can teleport to any waystone what you already placed or found.

There's a lot of steps involved, but once you set it up, its amazing, and much much much cheaper than RS and AE2 early game. Get to the point in Ars where you have the Dominion Wand, its required to bind the Lectern to storages. Make the Bookwyrm Charm by doing a Ritual of Awakening, but augment the Ritual with a Book and Quill. This is very simple, just make a Ritual Brazier, cheap, and a ritual of awakening, cheap, and click the Brazier with the Ritual, and toss the book on before right clicking the ritual to activate. Make like 2-3, for faster processing. Now, make a Bookwyrm Lectern (Cheap). When you right click the lectern with the Bookwyrms, they will spawn. Now, you can use the Dominion Wand to Right click the Bookwyrm Lectern, then Crouch right click a storage to bind it. Now the Lectern will access all that storage. It can bind to Functional Storage Controllers, AND the Sophisticated Storage Controller. Id suggest doing Both. Okay, next step (Sorry this is long), Make a Scry Crystal, and an Enchanters Eye. In your spell book make a spell that is "Touch -> Interact" that's it. Now take the Scry Crystal to the Scribes table, put it on the table, and with your spell book in hand, click the Scrys crystal with that spell to enchant the Scrys Crystal with that interact spell. Now, go to your lectern, and place the scry crystal, so the eye is facing the lectern. Its tricky, but I'm sure you can figure it out. Now you can crouch right click the Enchanters Eye on the Scrys crystal to bind them together. DONE! Now when you use the Enchanters eye while its in your inventory, it will open the Crafting/storage menu from the Lectern. INSTANT WIRELESS DIGITAL (MAGICAL) STORAGE WITH INFINITE RANGE. And there's NO power cost, and NO source cost.
Digital Storage:
This is a contentions issue, but I recommend just going to AE right off the RIP. AE2 got a HUGE overhaul this update (1.20) and it now has a guide (hover over AE2 items in JEI to see which button to hold to see the guide). Plus theres a new item called the Vibration Chamber which will power the AE2 system early game. You dont need to make disks early on, just route a Storage Bus to either your Functional Storage Controller or Sophisticated Storage Controller, or both, and you have all the storage you want. For Certus, you can mix in Ars and use the Amethyst Golems to harvest Certus from Budding Certus Blocks. (Does require a bit of source but its cheap and effective).
Going from RS to AE is a pain. You re-routing cables, with channels in mind, and setting everything up a second time, then actually moving the items from RS disks to AE storage, is a pain. Another point, for Silicon, the Material Stonework Factory from Industrial Foregoing will make Silicon from scratch, Only have to input water and Lava 1 time, and it will forever make Silicon. Put a Speed 2 upgrade in, and BOOM, fast silicon.
AE2 also has bigger disks and machines with a few addon Mods. Mega Cells, goes to 256 MILLION, AE Additions, AE2 Things, Ars Energistique (digital Source Storage and transport), and a new addon that im obsessed over, ExtendedAE which is STUIPD OP for an addon to AE2. Extended AE takes the only downside to AE2 (Slow autocrafting) and fixes it, with MASSIVE pattern providers that are 8x quicker by default. with 4x Acceleration upgrades, its very very fast.
Keep in mind RS ALSO has MUCH bigger storage than its default Cells. RS Adons, CableTiers, ExtraStorage (which has an INFINITE storage cell, but also others like a 1 billion disk), RebornStorage, which gives you a giant multiblock Autocrafter for RS.
Sorry for the Book, but the Ars Storage System is so cool, and I dont see people use it, and its Incredibly OP, if done correctly, and its not hard to get it right. No Power, No Source cost, Infinite Range, Instant storage access. Only downside its not Cross Dimensional, but thats the same for RS and AE Early game. But Regardless of whether you go AE or RS, ill keep posting helpful info. And if this is all stuff you know, Sorry for wasting your time hahahahahah.
Oh and for the Ars Bookwyrm storage, the Lecturn does NOT have to be touching the storage. Thats what the Bookwyrm mobs are for. The controllers just have to be within a 30 block range of the Lecturn, and the Bookwyrms will move the items from the Lecturn to the Controllers.

Fruit juice allows for full saturation at any time even if your are full. Feral flare lanterns are expensive but work under water and lighting up huge areas. Lantern of paranoia will auto place lanterns in your inventory. Mine colones if a endless source of food, enchants, and materials. I just cleaned out my ware house and got 3k iron ingots. If you build on a ocean you will get enchanted books but Pirates... Tell your forester to plant the trees your want. I have them growing avocado trees. My restaurant makes avocado toast. Raids will provide Ancient tombs. Your enchanter will randomly make enchanted books.
im lovin this series so far, i just started playing the modpack myself. ( also if you didnt know you can wear the crafting table on a stick to save a little inv space, and ive found SO many bunny slippers in those weird towers with the green beacons shooting into the sky haha)

i just started doing an all the mods playthru and i absolutely love minecolonies. my biggest gripe with minecraft is that is just a dead world, and nothing really happens without you doing it. mine colonies really helps your base area seem alive and dynamic. they do produce stuff, but im not far enough into it to make it worth more than some stacks of fish for trading
I don't agree with the dead world part since there's SO many things added in modded however that's how I feel with Vanilla. Minecolonies will for sure add some life to the world even in modded though so I'm excited to give it a go.

Edit: Also, Blue Skies, and other realms in the pack, the gear from that realm is superior to anything you can get in the overworld. For all realms have a gear set for that realm specifically ready, and use that only. Especially Blue Skies. Blue Skies, Netherite armor is like leather armor. Its useless. Same with the weapons and tools.
Also, its very bold to be going for Blue Skies this early in the pack. You should really get yourself situated in the overworld before you go to Blue Skies. It will help immensely. Trust me.
Also to remove the Gems, Vial of Arcane Extraction from apotheosis will remove all gems from the item, but the item will be destroyed, so just be prepared for that.
Yep....I have this thing where since I have over 3000 hours in modded I tend to run into things blindly not remembering that every pack is different and I'm probably doing a dumb. I learnt pretty quick but that's how it is sometimes and I will be spending more time gearing myself (which I've done a bit of between episodes) so that we can go back and get my revenge. xD

Those spawners in the caves have different mob levels denoted by the block on top. There was a cracked stone brick one you missed that kept spawning those spiders around you. They can be a bit more difficult to see.
Those pink enchanted scrolls in the loot chests... some have (ore)sight, e.g. DiamondSight, IronSight etc. They basically highlight the applicable ore in the rocks around you for 10 minutes... best to use the scroll when you're at the applicable Y level. Later, Divination Rods are awesome for ore/netherite hunting. One Netherite Divination Rod helped me net 456 deepslate diamond ore blocks during one anal retentive mining trip lol.
In the backpacks, you can go to the backpack settings tab and set slot memory settings. I have the top row of my backpack set to items I carry all the time so that when I sort the backpack contents, those items stay in the top row and no other items can occupy those slots. A nice QOL feature.
I found 2 Netherite smithing templates in an underground bastion in the overworld. I bought a map to one via the wandering trader. Nice to know you don't have to go bother the warden to find them 🤔🤔

Oh, and there is soooooooo much loot in this pack... Bundles are a great way to keep your backpack tidy. I carry a bundle full of bundles and use them to keep all the gems together, the pink and blue enchanted scrolls together, odd ingots togeher, etc, etc. The ability to put backpacks inside backpacks needs a netherstar, so bundles are a good consolation.
Oooo I'll have to tinker with those scrolls because I knew they were useful I just wasn't sure and didn't want to go clicking things if I didn't know what they did because that NEVER ends well. lol

Yess lots of ATM is going to be happening because I'm having way too much fun with this pack and it seems everyone is enjoying the videos so it'll be a strong presence on the channel for a LONG time. I mentioned I want to do well over 100 episodes and I meant it...the pack has so many things to do/create/explore that I can see it easily hitting that as long as nothing breaks. xD
RFtools has a storage scanner for early game. It scans every container within a 20 block radius. It can function as cheaper version of RS or AE2 and has limited crafting capabilities that comes in handy when upgrading to the other two storage systems.

really shouldn't put full shulkers in the AE system, i know it works but the NBT data held is insane and can cause some major lag/instability. similar to having LOTS of the apotheosis armor/weapons in the AE system, admittedly in 90% of cases it'll be perfectly fine but sometimes its not and cleaning that mess is a pain (has corrupted worlds for me in the past)
Refined storage has an addon call extra disks with larger disks. Minecolonies can produce most vanilla resources, just not at comparable rates to most mods or even some vanilla farms, especially considering capital (resources) and time investment.

I found my bunny slippers underground, sometimes you'll find these little camps with a mimic enemy and they have a shot of dropping any of the artifacts from the mod the bunny slippers comes from. Also greg tech coal ore is worth grabbing, you get two coal for each one its so awesome!

You discovered the ore doubling hammer, and then completely forgot about it. Only a little painful to watch you put raw iron into your furnaces.
Mega torches will not stop Caged spawners, Unless it is with in 7 blocks of the spawner like a regular torch and light level. Best way for XP is a Create Grinding wheels for double your ores and get free XP. You can use a Omnidirectional hopper and speed upgrades to Empty your bag fast in to your storage controller.

Be careful when nesting storage mediums. Ex. Putting a shulker box inside of Backpack. Large quantities of items in nested storages can lead to data corruption. Integers can only be so long in the code. If the quantity over runs that limit it can be bad. It all depends oh how well the code is written. Best practice is to not nest storage mediums. Especially things like Danks and Sophisticated backpacks with stack upgrades. Also from a data integrity and lag standpoint its better to use multiple smaller disks in refined storage, rather than single large disks. With extra disks there is and infinite disk available. While this sounds good its not. Every time you insert or extract items that disks contents has to be updated physically on your drive. The larger the disk with more items the longer the time it takes to make the write on your drive. Even with NVME drives the lag can be noticeable. Best bet is to use smaller disks. With smaller disks the amount of data needed to be rewritten is limited to only what is on the disks you changed. Less writing on your drive means less lag. Its part of the reason RS disks only go up to 64k. There's also more of a chance for data corruption when using the very large disks found in Extra Disks. In a way it acts like a real computer. If the game get interrupted while RS is updating the disk contents it can corrupt that disk. This is why I think having your eggs in multiple baskets is the best bet.
Whenever I use Applied Energistics I always use the 256k drives and never have an issue so the highest I'd go with the extra disks mod is the same size since it's easier to make early game. I've never had issues with large systems having shulkers holding stuff either but it's a good tip to know for people who may overdo it or have that problem happen. :D
You can remove the Apotheosis Gems via Vial of Arcane Extraction but that will destroy the item and save the gems.

I think you don't need pickup upgrade when you have magnet upgrade in backpacks. Because magnet triggers before you pickup Items most of times.
Also it's better to use pickup/magnet upgrade in one separate backpack. That's how it only fills with resources mined(call it mining backpack, only needed when you go mining and easy to dump later into ore processing setup). Use your main/another backpack for loot

Minecraft 1.20 makes a netherite upgrade tenplate necessary for all netherite upgrades. Make sure you copy it with netherrack and diamonds before you use it since its one use only.
you should use five pieces of terracotta, a bucket of water and three iron ingots to make a kitchen sink ... instant water source that never runs dry!

Hey! To try to answer your question about MineColonies. I built 2 colonies so far and at the beginning it's definitely you who have to support the town with supplies and baby sitting the colonists etc, however, as you progress I think more and more they can provide resources for you as they produce more than what they need (the rates are probably slow though compared to custom built farms). For example, IIRC, the nether miner can get ghast tears, ancient debris and other goodies from the nether for you so you don't have to go there.

The master torches work with a radius around them. Like 64 blocks around them, doesn't matter if its to the left, right, front, back, up or down. So if u go out the radius u get that mobs will spawn, i don't know if they affect spawners.
Ok that's good...I've adjusted the block distance in the config file so I guess it works for vanilla spawners and not modded. Thank you for the info! :D
U could us Refinned Storage or Applied Energistics 2. U can hook up the Functional storage and also the Sophisticated storage with the controllers. RS uses the extrenal storage and AE2 uses the ME storage bus. AE2 only works with channels while RS dont use channels, but AE2 is better with NTB data. And with the addons they added, u can use it like RS network with just 1 block and not trough the quantum ring (still can use it). Look at the disks for example, they even added the disk like RS for AE2. But for like the ore hammer, AE2 will use the same hammer while RS wants to make a new hammer ever craft or item. So think about NTB tags if u gonna use like Gregtech.
U can let minecolonies do every thing for u as long as u learned them the recipes. Like u don't need to make the hamburgers or harvest items for the hamburgers. The colonie can do that for u while u do other stuff. Even with ores or what ever u want.
Tip for back pack: make a deposit upgrade and shirt right click on an inventory or controller and it empty's it to that inventory or controller (drawers or sophisticated storage). I always have 2 backpacks. 1 just for mining and the other for my own tools like wrenches and wapons and armor.
Magnet upgrade is the same as the pick up upgrade, so u don't need them both, only the magnet pulls it to u while the pick up u have to be close to pick it up.

Advanced pickup upgrades can be filtered to only pickup certain items.
I know I'm a few months late, but packs with mechanism, the osmium makes some best early game armor. Better than diamond and easier to get.
You can make advanced magnet upgrades for the backpacks and use those to filter what they do or don't pick up.

with refined storage ... extra disks mod adds all the larger size disks ... I prefer to use the smaller drives ... less risk of corrpution and crashing of the world ... but you can actually go all the way up to an infinite disk with refined storage.
Yeah I wouldn't go past 256k personally just because it can get insane but it's pretty cool that the extra disks mod adds the option to. :D

Go into your waystones config folder and look for "inventory warp button" then put "ANY" and it should be there next time you load your world. (I explain it in the previous episode and if you use notepad++ it's like 88/89 I believe)
How do you load a chunk so its stays loaded even when you’re far away?
Through FTB chunks....open up your inventory and click the little map on the top left and you can claim chunks/force load chunks there.

how do you go into the config folder?? i can't find the menu you use to change portal setting, warp scrolls, etc...😭😭
If you mean the thing so you can teleport to waystones from your inventory... or I missunderstood ... you go in \All the Mods 9 - ATM9\minecraft\config and you find there a file called waystones-common.toml (I use prism launcher but I think its in the same place) open it with notepad+ (I used visual studio code) and there you go. Important things you need to search is [cooldowns] starts from line 67 (the last in here is the inventory thing what is on 300 sec) and the other one below it [inventorybutton] and in the 89 line you need to set up as inventoryButton = "ANY" and now in game your inventory there will be a scroll icon next to your character leg. Now you can teleport to any waystone what you already placed or found.
