Seeing Starcade post episodes this week brought a smile to my face, and ive been telling every live stream im in on youtube about the new episodes for days now. I used to run home from school to catch the show
Man, I can't imagine how exciting that would be to win a trip to Hawaii AND a Star Wars console at that time. That would've been the whole dream! Would love to hear what that kid had to say about it all these years later.
I expected them to all be kids, when that fourth player came out, I was shocked at how old he looked. Even with that beard, the first one looked like an older teen. The last guy looked like he played in the NFL.
Just a question guys... Is this Starcade TH-cam channel affiliated with the Starcade website that also hosts every episode except one, Episode #35? I ask because according to that site, Episode #35 is lost, but I distinctly remember once seeing a short clip of it here on TH-cam. I just can't find it here as well though. It was a clip of John, or was it Jay?, playing Galaga, so yeah there still might be hope for the episode to turn up in the future.

never saw this one. I only remember two game shows where a couple kids ran through a maze and grabbed games and stuck it too their vest. lady was hot though.

I wish they’ll bring back this show and reboot it with DDR, arcade fighters including tekken, street fighter, king of fighters and soul calibur, Japanese exclusives like mr.goemon, parodius, taiko drum master and more! There should be new prizes including a arcade candy cabinet with over 900,000 arcade games preloaded in with usb and sd memory card support so you can add more games and plug in usb ddr dance pads, light guns and other usb controllers, and a trip to Tokyo Japan, a trip to universal studios California and Florida..
Huh? They were a bit camera-shy - what is it with Gen-Zers describing any slight awkwardness as “cringe”…you completely devalue the word. I like real people who aren’t overly concerned with projecting an image of cultural “cool”.

Those games all only appeal to hardcore fighting fans whereas the games on this show had broader appeal and accessibility.
