Thank you for this video. The instructions do not say how much water to put in port A and if it should be kept at that level the whole time ( and still using the hatch to control the humidity). Can you share how you did your's?
I usually poured water into A until it had a small amount of standing water, just barely, in A itself. Then usually every 2-3 days would do the same. I usually would come out one morning and the humidity would have been fine the night before but halved overnight! Note how many days that takes to happen, then top it off the night before it would drop. Should keep you nice and steady! Hope that makes sense. 😊
Hi, thanks for the video - very nice. Here in Brazil I am having problems with moisture, so I was interested in knowing about the moisture control, but it seems that the only control is the moisture indicator and then I need to be watching the water and vent to achieve the balance. Am I right?
That’s right. With mine I found about every two days I needed to add water. If I noticed the humidity starting to dip before bed I would add water, then by morning it would be stable. Otherwise if I waited to add water the next morning the humidity would be super low. I’m thinking though in Brazil too much humidity might be a bigger issue?

I’m currently using one for the first time myself
I'm new at this. I've raised chics. Now we are going to try to hatch our own. with this same machine.
Good luck!

Will you please help me to buy an incubator of same kind.
I dont raise chickens just watching I'm bored lol. Can you use a turkey baster to fill the water trough. ?
That’s a damn good idea.
Do the newly hatched chicks need vaccines or something?
If you give medicated starter then you do not need the vaccines.
