Cross/Wade/Wright/Wattimena is a really interesting little section of the bracket for me. Cross and Wade are so consistent most of the time but occasionally they'll turn up and be really poor (and by that I mean their "poor performances" can be a lot worse than other top players' "poor performances" IMO), which is something that Peter and Jermaine can both jump all over if it happens. As for Peter and Jermaine specifically, I think Peter's problem is that even when he plays well he can be a real slow starter. He needs to be on his game from jump, especially in such a short format - otherwise Jermaine could run over him just by going, say, 3-0 up.
Interesting analysis because I actually think the opposite. Personally, I think the biggest strength of Cross and Wade's games are that even when they are off it, when they have poor games, they're still far better than almost anyone else's poor games. We've seen both win major events without ever hitting top gear. Funny how people can watch the exact same things and come to complete opposite conclusions! Jermaine has had a terrific bounce back year however historically he has been absolutely shite on TV, however his euro tour form at least has improved drastically this year hence his qualification for this event. That being said I'd still expect Peter to win that game, but I wouldn't be surprised if Jermaine pulls off the upset because Peter's been so inconsistent all year. Regardless of who wins that match I think either will lose to the winner of Cross/Wade. Wade's TV form the past 12 months has been really, really good, and Cross' form in pretty much every event has been superb as well. It's a shame one has to go out first round.
If you look back, I tipped De Decker on your channel for tge grand prix, but didnt bet him lol. He was 200/1. Looking forward to the start of the big end to the year darts wise. Going to go for Ryan Searle this week at Euro champs
Great video matt if gian barney win one game and ricardo and luke Woodhouse make it to final and then luke Woodhouse wins it then krizstof comes out seeded bit and goes into the pro tour bit puts him 12th in that pro tour bit of worlds
Has littler been using his loadouts in his last tournaments, because I could swear he wasn’t on the euro tour?I may be mistaken but his darts looked very familiar
The prize money (for ranking events) are for 104 months on your ranking. The prize money from the 2022 European Championship will drop from their current ranking money.
@@jaimewilson1011 it drops off their ranking after 2 years, but they don’t actually lose the physical money. The money they earn is theirs forever it’s just no longer reflected on the rankings after 2 years. Hope that answers your question!
Thing is, Chizzy and Heta aren't defending because they consistently underperform in TV events. Probably go out first and second rounds respectively.
I mean, Damo could play against Littler 2nd round, so that wouldn’t really be a surprise, would it?
Great video detailed.
