Sweet! They do still have David's Tardis set! Could come in handy if they decide to make David return for the 50th anniversary! Remember, I said if...It's not confirmed yet!
@@banana_man_101 The 10th Doctors TARDIS interior scenes were indeed filmed at the experience. There was a video here on TH-cam for a while that showed footage of the filming day for the 50th. But it seems to have been taken offline.
Well there's Dalek sec,Dalek KAAAHHHNNN!(sry had to make that reference, like the comment if you get it) and apparently there's a new Dalek to the Dalek society,Dalek Charlie!
While I do like the Bronze Daleks, but I want to see these come back because they are way more cool looking and the colour red makes it even better very much like the two Dalek films.
"Hey, were are we going to have Charlie's Dalek video?" "I don't know, how about the spare TARDIS set" "Yeah, that'll work, it's not like we're using it or anything"
For those of you wandering, this is old; back from when he gave Matt Smith the badger. They just uploaded it now because it contained spoilers for episodes not aired yet.
Oh my God, taking a ride inside a Dalek would be so fun! I made a Dalek once out of this empty compost bin because the council gave us an extra one, but it wasn't the same.
It is difficult to move one of those, the new Daleks are probably a lot heavier though. I only ever went inside an Imperial Dalek from 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks. You get used to it after a few minutes :D
In Charlie's fan mind he was secretly going 'First there was Ian in The Daleks, then there was the Doctor in The Space Museum...and now there is me!' WOO!
They might've been kidding. I know my friends and I like to joke around that they look like salt shakers carrying egg-beaters. "Whatchya gonna do, plunge me to death?" :P
I was at this giant Rube Goldberg think at MIT and this British guy had a giant war Dalek that was made of plexiglass and wood and steel. No reason other than, in his words, "I like daleks."
i got to sit inside a 1960's dalek at a convention recently. I prefer the new series ones as they are slightly roomier inside but id really like to do the voice more as these things are quite cramped.
Wondering why the prop Dalek's are done so simple that they need a few people to operate everything when fan made ones are made so high quality to the point that 1 person can operate everything.
I love how Charlie's like "Aw yeah, we just used debris from the old TARDIS. No big deal! Just hanging around the set that was a part of Doctor Who for 4 years. You know. Normal day."
So, he never said the most popular word of Daleks race. Bah, to become a great dalek is necessary to said "EXTERMINATE!". He doesn't become completely a dalek.
@reidrules45 The 1st doctor was "inside a dalek" pretending to be one. And who'se to say that the 12th Doctor can't be a teenager. The Doctor's physical AND mental attributes change every time he becomes the Doctor. I think a teenager would be an intresting change.
This was a good few years ago now. The series 1-4 TARDIS series 5-7a TARDIS, and the Torchwood set were all in that studio which was called upper boat. However the series 7b-10 and series 11 TARDIS set (plus SJA attic set) are /were in Roath Loch studios :) upper boat is now empty.
If someone invited me to play with Daleks on the set of Doctor Who I would skip playing with the Daleks and just play with the David Tennant tardis Consol
I am so sorry Charlie, but you are a Dalek. They didn't turn you into a puppet, they did a full conversion.
because you're right you're clever and the daleks need clever
Eggs...
WE are the masters
Lol i love that reference
e
I can't believe he didn't yell exterminate 😂
Ironic how the Dalek Operators Club is, in short, "DOC"
LOL
Charlie with red hair; me with a beard - it's as if we've travelled back in time...
A fun look into a job much harder than I imagined! But how do the Dalek eyestalks work?
David Tennent's Tardis!!!
Charlies going through so many transformations! 😂
Charlie you're so freakin LUCKY!!
Those shells cost £250,000 to own, if used on the Dr Who set, so yes. He is extremely lucky xD
Omg I thought those things were electrically operated lol
I think everyone did.😺
The reconnaissance dalek was electrically operated
Yet another year removed, and now I’m wondering if all Daleks are electronic now yet or not
@@ninjagamer1359only specific ones, not all of them
The entire time I thought, "The tardis looks dead behind him. NOOO TARDIS NOOOO!"
Sweet! They do still have David's Tardis set! Could come in handy if they decide to make David return for the 50th anniversary! Remember, I said if...It's not confirmed yet!
omg you told the future 😳
@@evexxxs_9230 Sometimes they listen to the fans, I guess.
They demolished it and in the 50th they used a remake which was (apparently) in the Doctor Who Experience in Cardiff.

@@timrob12 I'm surprised that you're still on youtube after 8 years
when looking at that cold dark tardis, i makes me think of the companions and adventure that was inside that thing...
"When I took a ride in the most feared creature in the universe" *must..not...make..innuendo*
I wanna be a Dalek! And go in David Tennants console room
"Principal Dalek Operator" ...Some people's childhood dreams DO come true!! xD
If I was on the David tennant set I legit would never leave 😂
they need to put cameras in the eye and a screen inside the casing
youtube recommendations "want to see a video from a decade ago containing a youtuber who doesn't make videos anymore?"
his vision was impaired he could not see...
HIS VISION WAS IMPAIRED HE COULD NOT SEE....
lol
Well there's Dalek sec,Dalek KAAAHHHNNN!(sry had to make that reference, like the comment if you get it) and apparently there's a new Dalek to the Dalek society,Dalek Charlie!
STAR TREK
It's a dalek with Charlie's voice coming out of it. Mind blow
I want to be a really famous youtuber so I can be a dalek someday!!!!!
How did it go 😂
Man I wish I could do that. Only I would probably want to drive around one of the old 60s ones.
"I feel like I'm in a little tomb of some sort." Totally being buried in a Dalek.
I don’t care how much it cost, I want my coffin to be a Dalek.
Getting to be a Dalek is awesome. Their one of my favorite enemies in the show.
While I do like the Bronze Daleks, but I want to see these come back because they are way more cool looking and the colour red makes it even better very much like the two Dalek films.
If anyone deserves to ride in a dalek, it's charlie. Love you, man!
would you believe me if I told you I like the new paradigm Daleks
rake Ere well there not exactly new anymore, like 6 years old and haven't really been seen since but no your not the only one I liked them
Thomas Derry well I know they're not really new but that's what they were called in the show
They're new in the sense that they have been so unused they still feel like it. I always thought of it as part of their name, like the New Paradigm.
"Hey, were are we going to have Charlie's Dalek video?" "I don't know, how about the spare TARDIS set" "Yeah, that'll work, it's not like we're using it or anything"
"It felt like I was in a little tomb of some sort"
Yeah well Kenny Baker did this for a while xDD.
wow he's standing right outside the old tardis!!! that looks absolutely AWESOME!
For those of you wandering, this is old; back from when he gave Matt Smith the badger. They just uploaded it now because it contained spoilers for episodes not aired yet.
I would have loved at the beginning if the Darlek just turned and started talking to him. I want to see the look on his face!!
0:46 "I'm glad that I'm gonna be coordinated when I'm inside of it."
yes! it comes full circle for charlie and his love for doctor who!
Charlie is so lucky! That is so awesome
The beginning of this video i was just like THE TARDIS IS BEHIND U OMFGGGG
He's almost like a child around other people, it's so adorable!
Somehow it had actually never occurred to me that there were people inside the Daleks.
"Imagine it being like a big sort of skirt and you're spinning it around." Yes because charlie as the the upmost experience of wearing a skirts. lol
Daleks are probably the most loved villains
Haha. I love Paul the Camera man
How have I never seen this video before! Night has been made! :D
OMG I LOVE CHARLIE!!! he is like one fo my fav youtubers!
lol we should see charlie as a weeping angel
Daleks have never been so adorable :)
Oh my God, taking a ride inside a Dalek would be so fun! I made a Dalek once out of this empty compost bin because the council gave us an extra one, but it wasn't the same.
Charlie should be the next Doctor. He can defeat the Daleks because he knows their inner workings
he's so polite! love him xo
The end CRACKED ME UP!
It is difficult to move one of those, the new Daleks are probably a lot heavier though. I only ever went inside an Imperial Dalek from 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks. You get used to it after a few minutes :D
this was amazing :D Charlie the Dalek!!
'I took a ride inside the most feared creature in the universe!' dirty mind...
In Charlie's fan mind he was secretly going 'First there was Ian in The Daleks, then there was the Doctor in The Space Museum...and now there is me!' WOO!
That was amazing! :)
They might've been kidding. I know my friends and I like to joke around that they look like salt shakers carrying egg-beaters. "Whatchya gonna do, plunge me to death?" :P
Even with Charlie inside. That Dalek still looks intimidating.
I assume they edited out Charlie leaping around the old TARDIS set with glee.
Who knew that there were people inside the Daleks! Crazy!
Charlie being the next doctor would be AMAZING!
I was at this giant Rube Goldberg think at MIT and this British guy had a giant war Dalek that was made of plexiglass and wood and steel. No reason other than, in his words, "I like daleks."

It looks so sad and lonely on the 10th doctors tardis... even after his series....
I always assumed that the daleks, at least in the new series, were remote controlled.
The half charlie half Dalek is hilarious :')
Aww the old TARDIS set! I was so worried they would just destroy it!
Charlie should either be a doctor or a companion !!
oh lord, Ten's TARDIS is in the background...imma cry TT^TT
HE SAID, "Like a ballet dancer." BALLET DALEK'S CREATIVE PROCESS REVEALED.
The fact that he didn't once say 'Exterminate' inside the Dalek disappointed me. I mean, that would be the first thing I'd do.
So the old TARDIS still exists at this point. I love it.
I want to buy that TARDIS. Will they accept Monopoly money?
The most feared creature in the universe is the doctor
Wondering why the prop Dalek's are done so simple that they need a few people to operate everything when fan made ones are made so high quality to the point that 1 person can operate everything.
When he said vision impaired...well...you all know what I was thinking.
Doc- dalek operators club, you are now doc Charlie
see all the wires? remote control, along with the voice/lights
I wish I'd seen this video a year ago, I'd have told the careers adviser I want to be a Dalek Operator.
I love how Charlie's like "Aw yeah, we just used debris from the old TARDIS. No big deal! Just hanging around the set that was a part of Doctor Who for 4 years. You know. Normal day."
SHELDON WOULD NEVER WAKE UP FROM THAT SONG
I actually know the guy who was in the red dalek in the actual programme! I just wish that I knew Charlie...
So, he never said the most popular word of Daleks race. Bah, to become a great dalek is necessary to said "EXTERMINATE!". He doesn't become completely a dalek.
@Daggerman2009 didn't we already have one on those? Episode 3x05; Evolution of the Daleks. Great episode!
The Dalek guy even sounds like a Dalek :3
@reidrules45

He's well known and people find people... what I guess I'm trying to say is: yes, yes they did. He's not a kid though. He's an adult.
the old Tardis is still there!
This was a good few years ago now. The series 1-4 TARDIS series 5-7a TARDIS, and the Torchwood set were all in that studio which was called upper boat. However the series 7b-10 and series 11 TARDIS set (plus SJA attic set) are /were in Roath Loch studios :) upper boat is now empty.
i love these daleks
0:30 DAVIDS TARDIS
I sat in a 2005 dalek at a convention it was fun!
you mean the spinny one in the asylum?
pus Charlie will be the coolest and best singing Dalek EVER!!! :)
1:06 - I have SUCH a dirty mind...
THAT DEBRIS D-:
He once did a "Challenge Charlie-video" where he dyed his hair bright red just because someone challenged him... Yeah. He's awesome.
whats up with your hair! :D im watching these video's in the playlist order and your hair keeps changing! xP
Get the Doctor in there! xD
I don't have claustrophobia, but I would so freak out inside a Dalek.
If someone invited me to play with Daleks on the set of Doctor Who I would skip playing with the Daleks and just play with the David Tennant tardis Consol
casually walking around in the old tardis...
daleks are so adorable!
I didn't expect them to be so big, I knew they had people inside but yeah I didn't expect that XD
