The halogen lights inside were dismal vs the OEM leds. it's strange how Toyota decided to make a mix of lights but oh well. Be sure to watch the video because literally each light is different to access! here's where I got the LEDs: amzn.to/3nX4SW0 27mm festoon amzn.to/3fGpfni I haven't seen an interior of a LandCruiser but my guess it's not too much different on the domes vs the dash itself. i haven't gone through those yet. I used 1 so far. I can't believe how many halogen lights there are. i just noticed the front seats have lights that light up underneath when the rear door open.
great video! was excited try it on my 2021 LX in the cargo area. Unfortunately the bulbs dont match. i actually have the bulb integrated into a card on my vehicle so i guess im stuck with no light
An easier way to change the 2 bulbs on the front dome light is to carefully remove the plastic lens that has 4 clips about a 1/2 inch in from the corners. Use a very narrow knife to pry from these areas. Once one corner is released, move to the next. Much easier than removing the whole assembly. Also the bulbs in the car are not halogen bulbs but ordinary filament type bulbs which also get very hot. halogens would melt the plastic in no time... Just a FYI
The location of stock light wouldn't have been too bright so I added a separate light on the hatch instead Check out the results th-cam.com/video/uex2XCdnEz8/w-d-xo.html

Do the leds get hot? I've had some that get about as hot as incandescent.
@@dr.emilschaffhausen4683 some can get hot but for me not as burning as an incandescent.
Hi, what can we do about the light strip above the door panel armrest for 2021 LX570. It is very dim and unnoticeable.
That's probably LED so no fix unless it's custom
Hey Rob Daman,
How many of the 27mm did u use? Did u replace the door lights also when u open the door ?

Like you channel. Good review. you didn't list how many 27 mm festoon bulbs you had changed?

Ok 👍🏽.. We should check other videos to try your way.
I got so distracted by the adorable squeaky voice in the background, forgot why I was watching the video.
How do you go about changing out the light in the cargo area?
The location of stock light wouldn't have been too bright so I added a separate light on the hatch instead
