Pretty cool rig. Could I put in another video request!? Lol maybe you've already covered this and I somehow missed it, but could you do a video on weights for float fishing? Inline weights vs shot patterns? What's more effective all around? Do you ever use inlines in shallow water or creeks? What are the baits doing differently with each setup? There's a million more questions I have on it but just thought I'd throw some food for thought for more Content for ya and I'm sure it would help alot of people out!

I appreciate the idea. I might be able to put something together like that. I covered a lot of that in one or two previous videos but I haven’t done a specifically dedicated video to that. I also have some of the same questions you do though lol. Sometimes it is hard to know what is actually happening under the water. Lately I have been using in-line rigs for everything even Greeks and Shallow areas. It doesn’t seem to hinder much, if anything in my opinion.

@ReelMichiganAnglers well heck even that answer helps me fish a little more confidently! I've been running inline on the grand and just can't seem to get on one. Had a couple days I did really good. Caught more chrome in 2 hours than I have the 2 years I've been chasing them. Then it got colder and they shut down somewhat, but I notice most guys getting on them had shot instead of inlines so I was starting to think that was the factor of catching or not. Was gonna try next trip with shot but if someone like you that's consistently getting on em then I can stand confident I'm my inlines. Thanks for your time and education!

@@codycook7091 on the Grand I would pretty much never bother with a shot line. Just use an in-line get it as close to the bottom as you can and use at least a 15 g bobber which will help slow down your presentation and make sure that your bait is kicked out in front of your weight.

Excellent vid. 'Just one Q: What is the small green square tab on the upper left corner of screen?

I think that is just the corner of the screen protector that came on it.

Next time feel free to say hi. I always enjoy helping people out and I’m quite used to being approached by people who recognize me while fishing at this point lol

I have been looking for quite some time, trying to find a video where someone actually uses the float. I don't want to fish, I just want to do underwater shots with a lightweight set-up instead of my underwater drone/where drones are not allowed ....

I haven’t tried the float out yet, but I can see where it would be advantageous for, tossing it off the side of the boat to have a look under the water

@@ReelMichiganAnglers I will be joining @TecTox-WW (youtube.com/@TecTox-WW?si=2RE9aFx87THSSvUk )for a lake-snorkeling-trip from Lake Merwin, WA to Lake Davis, CA in August and want to get a few additional shots. Was wondering if something like that might be a good thing to do.

@@TommiBrem if you have a good way to film the screen and keep it dry.
