I can see why the included lift and gearing are huge perks! I wish I had known about these when I was shopping. And super thankful the Gladiator life brought us together as friends! Happy one year anniversary!

Great review. Nice to see one from people who really wheel hard. I just put my order in for the same lift but with the heavy duty coils because I run pretty heavy with a cap and a rooftop tent, 24/7. I have the same AEV wheels wrapped only in 35s. I don’t think I’m going any bigger. I like to wheel but definitely not as hard as you guys and the 35s even without the lift have so far and served me pretty well. Just too many more mods Going bigger than 35s that I don’t feel like dealing with for a daily that still gets a lot of pavement use.

Honestly, the AEV lift was great. we are in the process of changing things now, but we did a lot of wheeling, and everything held up well considering the abuse we put it through. We believe you will be extremely happy with the AEV lift.

@@DirtRoadJourney thanks. Will probably post up some vids about it once it’s installed. Btw- fun to see the dynamic between you two and the mutual love of offroading you have. My offroading buddy is my son. He’s been going out with me for years, but he’s now 14 so I started teaching him to read the terrain, pick lines and spot this year. He’ll be behind the wheel soon. Wheel on!

I’m going with the AEV 3” HD coils on my 21 Mojave. I just have to get them powder coated black, blue doesn’t go with a Sargent’s green JT 😂. Curious, what slider/steps do you have? Great content!

Would you do the AEV again? Or just build it yourselves?

We are happy we bought the AEV JT370 it allowed us to get out on the trails immediately. We were very happy with the way the AEV handled on and offroad. We feel this is a great setup for most average offroaders. After abusing this setup for about 2 years and 40k miles. We did make some major upgrades, and we have removed all of the AEV suspension to change to 4.5 in lift with 40in tires. We don't regret buying the AEV JT370 and we still think we made the right choice for us.

@heavyhitta52 If you are looking for a daily driver yet capable off-road vehicle. We think you will be very happy with an AEV vehicle.
