Also, the 90's were the last great decade that dared to use "politically incorrect" humor sort the sake of laughs. This was a time before the "woke" generation.
@@jayanxiety Man you're so right about that. Jim Flourintine, Touch Tone Terrorists, and lots I blank on now. An underground prank-caller, Carlito (R.I.P), though started in 2005, held nothing back with regard to 'political correctness'. One categorical example regarding 'ladies', he'd use phrases like "that's nice honey", "put a man on the phone", "you dont need a watch, the clock's on the stove", "how you doing big girl?", "there's no 'WO' in 'manager'", "you don't have a man there? Well that's the problem isnt it!" He'd poke at race, politics...you know...what comedians used to do before the wokeness catastrophe. Get woke, go broke...right? I spit out the coffee I had in my mouth and messed up my winged eyeliner. I’m never listening to anything funny while doing my make up ever again. “Your clothes don’t match. AHHHH!” 😂😂
Prank calls were great. When I was a kid we just picked random numbers from the phone book and called people. We were never rude or harrassive though, we always tried to keep it funny and with respect for the people we called. I think prank calling is still a thing, I actually got a prank call from some teenagers a few months ago. But it was not of the funny kind, they were just rude and said bad things about my mother, lol.
I love these I've been watching 10 hours straight. I've been laughing so hard I am crying now. hurray 2017. What makes it funnier is that the caller brings up a great topic and makes the interviewer think about a convo
God, if they only knew... Thanks for posting. As you know, this was but a small sample. Too bad the majority is lost forever. They exist now only in memories. However, these were hilariously funny, then and now, and haven't lost their magic in all these years. My side hurts from laughing so much I'm out of breath! Ahh, the good old days. Wish I were that young again.
I actually liked the fact that some of the hosts actually had a sense of humour back in the day and took it in stride. You don't see that in today's politically correct society.
Holy shit that was amazing. "If you watched TV, you'd know that many people wear this type of jacket". "Yeah, but not with dungarees". "These are jeans, not dungarees." "Right, 'jeans'". Some of these videos couldn't have been scripted better. I love it.
The screamer has that “vocal quality” and a good sense for fashion. Hilarious while this velvet collar guy is a fashion folly. Don’t try to defend velvet collars and jeans dude. You know that outfit was horrid.
2:26 Any ASTRIX VICI DIAL PABX/PBX Engineers recognise that sound??? How the hell does a clip from the 80s have this sound effect??? Is Vici Dial copying a very very old PBX system? So many questions, please let me know!!!
'the screamer' pure legend
Absolute gold. The screamer is a true legend
Yes! Lol
He turns me on.
He uh did it again
its actually very sad he's got colitis... of the mouth
When you've reached the level of the hosts saying, "It's him!" as The Screamer did....then you've arrived.
SmoothJazz98 He called his friend too! That's when you REALLY arrived! LMAO!!
Legend
The screamer is the first internet troll, joined before the internet
The first scream sounded like he actually fell down a trap door 😂
the funniest part is when the dude makes fun of his velvet collar
Damn. He went off on his cohost's outfit.
There seems to be some tension between those 2
It really didn't match.
2:48
"Where did you did you find your clothes this morning? They don't match."
"Wh- mi- mine or Roger's?"
*Gets dragged into the Underworld*
"Yeah, but does it go with dungarees? Which you are wearing?"
I love 80s prank calls. 80s and 90s were the best. Maybe it's the shitty phone quality I miss :)

3:04 I love how "The Screamer" slowly caused a rift between Roger and Frank the 2 presenters.
3:16 lmfao the prank caller inadvertently ignited an on air fued between the two! Man that is epic!

Oh yeah, prank phone calls never go out of style as a matter of fact they were a rite of passage in my juvenile circle back in the day!
I'm trying to find ways to prank call local radio shows with fake numbers.

“He did it again”
The screamer is a fookin legend
I'm laughing at fart pranks from decades ago. Fight me.
Richard’s Rain Man reaction to the screamer at 1:20 is one of the best things I have ever seen in my life. So awesome. Coltis of the mouth.
Whoa!!!! He got legit pissed about the velvet collar!!!
The hosts actually like the screamer I think...

I just recorded and reversed it. Whoever uploaded this likely did that to blank out the phone number, but they say it elsewhere in the video anyway.

the sound effect on the video (that you can only hear the beginning of) is a sample from an old Warner Brothers cartoon
