I alike how you covered the base game setup rules and then showed what the expansion adds. I haven’t played the original but just wanted to dive into the expanded version and this was really helpful.
I found that games like this are a lot more enjoyable (or at least, less fiddly) with a felt tablecloth, making the cards a lot easier to pick up. Especially when your doing so frequently.
oh man those bits are beautiful! are the new components going to be sold separately at the bgg store or as part of a bundle! the expansion cover is beautiful. I may just use that box instead of the base :) thanks for the video.
The Targi Expansion bits will be a separate set from the base set, so you can buy them individually depending on what you own. - Beth (BGG Product Manager)

Was there a rule goof here? I thought you are allowed to place a targi opposite your own targi? You just get one intersection point as opposed to two... I just got this game and playing on arena I thought that's what was possible!
you are correct. That is a valid move, although not practical :) well, at least for the base game it is. Not sure if in expansion is no longer allowed.
I was going to say the same except my (old) English rules do say to replace the card, but the designer has said, no, you get to choose whether to replace it or leave it. I think leaving it up to the player is best as there can be a bit of strategy to the decision.
I love your game nights! I'm curious if you guys have any plans to play any of the following: Five Tribes (maybe my favorite game of all time), Wingspan European Expansion (haven't got mine yet but it's on the wish list), and Viticulture/Tuscany (another one from my wish list, which I've started researching heavily lately). Cris, we use a Sony high end 4K camcorder. It does a pretty great job for us. The one we use has a special attachment for audio but there is a much cheaper one now that focuses on the camera. Let me know if you want some more info. Thanks for the note and for watching. -Lincoln

Is there a resource limit as to how many you can have in your reserve besides the 10 water limit ?
54:26 I'm pretty sure the rules state that when passing, you don't HAVE to burn the card. You can just leave it there.
