This brings tears to my eyes as well. There is nothing worse than some woman insisting that you come over her house to eat dinner. She sets a beautiful table, but her table is laden with "no-tasting" food and many items made only from canned foods. That food tastes terrible. We love that good homemade food like you cook. I came from a village and a community! We were poor, but everyone was poor! So we didn't know it and in my community anyone would take care of you as if you were their own! Today we don't have those simple things!

Hello Ms Tennessee North!! It's been bitter cold here in Michigan. Was under a Winter storm warning for 2 days. It got down to 6 degrees. Been shut in . My Christmas was spent by myself this year. Nana just went today to get checked out for COVID. I truly missed all my children and Grans. Watching this video day after Christmas. Haven't felt up to doing very much. My 70 years I still thank God for bc I still have that desire to cook. I really enjoy watching your little grans in that kitchen with Nana. They won't be little long!! Next thing you know they will be graduating from high school!! May even own there own restaurant one day!!! Enjoy them while you can! I had no idea how smart your little Sue Chef is. How old is she? She's so helpful and curious, she wants to learn so bad. She's going to take after you. And God bless your heart you have the patience and discipline to teach her. I remember being like that when I was a child I just want to soak up everything I could about cooking. Hello Ms Tennessee North!! It's been bitter cold here in Michigan. Was under a Winter storm warning for 2 days. It got down to 6 degrees. Been shut in . My Christmas was spent by myself this year. Nana just went today to get checked out for COVID. I truly missed all my children and Grans. Watching this video day after Christmas. Haven't felt up to doing very much. My 70 years I still thank God for bc I still have that desire to cook. I really enjoy watching your little grans in that kitchen with Nana. They won't be little long!! Next thing you know they will be graduating from high school!! May even own there own restaurant one day!!! Enjoy them while you can! Tell Courtney and thing 1 and Thing 2 to keep on stirring up there gifts for the Lord with Nana!!

How long has it been since you lost your Mom, I love how you always mention her in your videos. My Mom is also gone and it’s been 15 yrs since she was gone, but it still feels like yesterday. You and I are around the same age and all the things you mentioned are also a part of my childhood, growing up was so fine ❤

Wow, with all the food and extra ingredients or spices I know your grocery bill is high especially with the High Prices of today. Your meals have good produce, spices and meats.
