Side note his initials are DC and he did it in DC, also Arraez was the one who spoiled his last attempt at a no hitter and if you noticed he gave the ball to DC
as a sox fan, i both couldn’t bare to watch(already watched him blow one and watching him blow another would shatter my heart) and also cried in the middle of a bowling alley when i got the notification. watching cease, lopez, sale, Rodon, even mccan have success warms my heart because they would have not developed into the players they have if they didn’t get the chance to leave
That smash up the middle in the 8th had hit all over it but Kim was well-positioned to make the 3rd out. That was as close as the Nats got, other than the bobble just before. A breeze of a no-hitter, groundouts galore.
I probably don't need to tell any of my fellow Padres fans that the scarcity of no-hitters in the history of the team was very much a product of the team's historic mediocrity. For decades the San Diego Padres were an also-ran, or a doormat, or a source of snickering around baseball. And they deserved it. Few major league sports clubs were worse over those decades. So this is most welcome as a source of prestige. It's now two no-hitters quickly in just a couple of years. And whether or not the Padres go into the post-season, we can at least say we finally have, year after year, a baseball team we can really support proudly.
As awesome as this game was, I’m still super disappointed in Bogaerts. He tried to give this game away. But great job for Cease! He looks like our best pitcher this season.
Orsillo is a great announcer but he needs to learn to stop talking sometimes and let the moment play out in front of him. He did something similar for Musgrove's no-hitter in 2021
CEASE!!!! the moment
Did he walk someone?
@@busterbrown2640 yea he walkes 2 i believe so it wasnt a perfect game but still a no hitter
Shutcho dusty ass up
He is for sure going to be the pitching leader on the team.
Accomplishing this in modern baseball is absolutely wild. Somebody buy this dude a beer for me.
Cease is fantastic but the padres definitely worked behind him.
Man Bogaerts makin my boy sweat!😂
Jeez everyone was so sharp today, really outstanding!
Congratulations, Padres & Dylan Cease! Keep up the winning toward the playoffs and maybe even catch them doyers! LFGSD!

The universe works in mysterious ways 💯
Great job! Let's go Padres!
Cease I am very happy for you that was a excellent day on the bump for you
perfect defense
ah...um.. X?
@@SanDiegoHarry1Sure, he fumbled the ball but the out was still made
@@dezhernan yes... but it was not pretty. X needs to work on his leather
All no-hitters have the defenders doing their job. 🤨
HE IS AMAZING!!!! ⚾️⚾️⚾️

So incredible what a gem 💎 Dylan you mad dog‼️‼️This is padres history right here
It wasn’t his no hitter. It was the Padres’ no hitter. Team effort.
This proves it. Padres are better on the road than at home...
That. Was. AWESOME!! 💛🤎💛🤎💛🤎

U forgot to mention, who acquired them, - preller
Padres NEED to look into Snell if possible, and Bauer looks great for pennies
He almost through one on my birthday as a White Sox - that's my team - and so happy for him to finally get it.
Love to see it. Congrats
시즈 : 하성아 타점은 고마워
Cease and Desist on those hits!
Took so many years to get one and now we have 2 in 4 years. I love baseball.
Xander literally tried to give it away twice. Great job battling by Cease.
Absolute dominant performance.
Wow 😳 💯 🔥
#LFGSD
シースおめでとう!!
DC NO NO IN DC
i hope he and musgrove bond over this over a nice game of disc golf
1m 27s OH MY GOODNESS

i don’t think he meant to + he still got the out which is what matters.
A lesser player than Bogaerts doesn’t get to those balls. The fly drops and the line drive gets through. He kept the no no intact.
Xander almost messed that thing up twice lol, congrats Cease!
One would certainly have been an error. The one going into center would've probably been scored as a hit though.
Xander boegarts did not want a no hitter :0!!!!!!
Not bad... Defence ok...
Why's it feel like the padres always have a couple of really good young players and then in 2 years they are on a different team
Cease and desist!!!!
LFGSD!!!!!
Bogaerts made this more dramatic. 😅

That and he sounds like he’s (mostly) yawning and crying at the same time
The Padres should just wear white shoes.
