Dave a lot of men would look at all that stuff and not think much of it, but I love how you see it for it's beauty. I can just hear the passion in your voice. Please don't ever change. Amazing home
Dave, This house, it's gardens, pond and beautiful bridge! So warm and stunningly, gloriously lovely. I would love to watch you, your facial expressions as you first discover the next room, to watch you as you see these things for the first time. I would love that.
All that beauty - yet once dead it's gone. I think that is what saddens us who view - the memories, the people - all gone - the lose. Makes me think about what is important and how fleeting everything is in life.
An absolutely exquisite mansion. Such a shame that she has been left to decay. Would love to see her restored! Please pan your camera slowly so that we can enjoy all that you are seeing first hand. Please try to find more mansions and chateaus like this. I love the architecture and attention to detail in these magnificent homes. Keep up the good work! Can't wait to see more!
So Exquisitely Beautiful ~ I find calmness and warmth and peace. Each room is done with much love and so much detail ~ They must have been the most happy and friendly people. Thank you 💛
I live alone in a two-bedroom house that even has a small laundry room. It really is more space than one person needs so not everyone aspires to live in a multiroom house that's outdated and stuffy looking with old furniture. Not much in that house can be sold or anyone would want for free.
riproar11 that’s your opinion but I’m sure not many others and there are many many wonderful things in that house that lots of people would love and also buy as they’re lovely and totally different not like the same old same old you buy nowadays
This is honestly the first time I got teary eyed. Combination of your narrating, music and a sense of loneliness. It's like the walls are wanting to come back to life. Beautiful place, beautiful furnishings. And of course your beautiful self. Take care & stay safe. #number1explorer.
Wow Dave, this place is stunning.I can hear the excitement in your voice, and your breathing. This place is to die for,all the work that has gone into the walls, and ceilings. All the beautiful paintings on the walls,I absolutely fell in love with the babies cot,it was stunning.I loved the twin beds, did not like the ceiling being papered the same.Like you I loved the chandeliers, absolutely stunning, all the craftsmanship that has gone into this place.I would love to live there myself.I hope it is restored before it goes to far to be saved.Thankyou Dave, for taking us to see it,it is magnificent.xx
Beautiful mansion. I love all the artwork. Crazy how we can spend so much time creating something so beautiful yet it comes to an end and becomes worthless. Thank you for sharing this when you are obviously so poorly. Bless you. Hope you feel well again very soon. X
I am so proud of you that you never take nothing and you always put everything back where you picked it up from you looked at it you are an awesome awesome person
Fabric was used to decorate the walls, but it also serves as insulation against the wind and cold. In the Middle Ages tapestries were used on walls to keep the cold from entering the castle. Common practice serves a dual purpose both aesthetic as well as utilitarian in most parts of Europe. In America - newspaper was used in the walls for insulation with scraps of fabric. Restoring a cabin from the 1900's and in the walls were newspaper and bits of cloth stuffed in the cracks and crevices.
THE CRAFTSMANSHIP OF THE WALLS, CEILINGS, PLASTER, ETC IS AN ART THAT SEEMS TO HAVE PASSED BY . SEEING THE CRIB WITH THE FOLDED BLANKETS WAS WHAT TOUCHED ME. IT DOES APPEAR THAT SOMEONE HAS MAINTAINED IT AS THE GRASS IS MOWED, FURNITURE TUCKED AWAY, NEW RADIATORS HOOKED UP, ETC. FLOOR GRATES WOULD HAVE BEEN FOR THE ORIGINAL HEATING SYSTEM WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN HEAT RISING FROM THE FLOORS WITH FIRES OR A COAL FURNACE. THERE HAS OBVIOUSLY BEEN LOVING CARE TO MAINTAIN THIS HOUSE. THE WAY THE RUGS ARE ROLLED UP, ITEMS SORTED AND COVERED, ETC. PERHAPS THERE WAS OR IS A CARETAKER?
This home is calling my name! I’m in love with everything about it. If only I had the means to properly revive the grandeur of this gorgeous estate. But seriously, who doesn’t long for such an experience? Dave, def in my AWE Top 5 🏆
Hi Dave an guys another amazing place what great furniture an incredible items you tell us a story as though we were their with you an like I feel live every day you never know what’s around the corner I had ms at 35 an now my son has progress ms he’s 40 so we love seeing all your travels stay safe lv Ann uk
How absolutely beautiful! I love how you show everything. The beautiful fireplaces, the chandeliers, the detail even on the ceilings. You open the door to the basement & I think- don’t go down there- but you always do. The piano room, I could imagine people sitting around listening. I saw a pinafore instead of a piano. Thank you so much for sharing, I appreciate you showing in detail places that I will never, ever get to see. Thank you & stay safe in your travels.
Hey Dave! I saw your IG stories last night and I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate and love what you're doing. Please don't change a thing! I love seeing all these abandoned places, it makes me sad and stunned at the same time and I like that you express your feelings during the videos. I can hear in your voice how passioned you are about what you're doing and sometimes a video can be ''heavy'' with emotion, history, damage and even have haunted places but you still manage to keep a positive attitude and you always respect those places and their history. Please don't stop expressing your thoughts and feelings during your videos just because some people tell you to while they're sitting in their comfortable couch or saying stuff like ''don't move the camera too fast''. You do what you love and risk your life by going to these places and surely, you don't have to hold a camera while you explore to show it for anyone. Some people will always judge others for no reason but the majority of us are really thankful that you're filming this for us to watch it. I'm looking forward for more of your videos! Love and positive vibes from Greece.
Good Morning,Dave. What must a been a beautiful home at one time( and the money spent on mortgage and furnishings), now she sits abandonded. The staircase is beautiful, but some of the color schemes shows its age....water damage occurring, and I noticed a lot of hoses connected to the radiator's. Nice time capsule find!🤗👍💗💖
@@changeintheair9648 agree...if it were totally abandoned no air\heat circulation there would be mold on furniture..dust everywhere also? I had an aunt that had a huge house on the family owned farm..they turned power off for about a year and all the furniture(everything that was wood) had this gray colored mold on it.
Wow, wow...LOVE this one so much!! I hope the children resolve it soon, before it's too late to save the place...it's gorgeous! All those marble fireplaces and the personal artwork...phenomenal! Great explore, sir!!
I am so glad that they maintain the grounds at least. I hope the family can resolve the house before that lovely artwork gets ruined. Thanks Dave, another awesome explore! xxx
As a painter myself I wish you had filmed more of the paitimgs. They were amazing pieces. The one sort of behind a chair resting on the floor had a very dramatic sky. Great work, wonder who painted them
Beautiful home going to waste...the background music always adds to the sombre mood of theses abandoned homes....so many people with no where to live and these homes just crumble away!! Great vlog Dave carry on with the great out doors xx
Incredible job! Thank you! Beautiful hardly describes this home. Maybe uninhabited, but, thankfully, not abandoned: the grounds; even the bad ceiling places have been removed; no cobwebs or mildew are overtaking the place (the heat still on sure helps), and even the furniture is being dusted. The dolls in place look as though someone’s sentimental, cherished treasures. I dare say, the mansion is still in use. It’s so good to see someone still cares. Thank you for bringing us along! Excellent tour guide!
Ok Iv said it before but...... this place is my favourite yet! This mansion is unreal! I have to get married here too! I hope someone ends up saving it!
